As I walked into the kitchen, I saw my dad sitting at the table eating breakfast. I was surprised since he never ate breakfast with me. I sat down silently hoping he would at least talk about work or meetings. Instead all I got was a cold "Hello, son." I was upset but I didn't speak. It's better than nothing I said in my head. Before I got up he spoke.

"Son you remember prince Kye-Lo? Well, he's looking for a husband, I think you would be a perfect fit for him." I was surprised. Me? I'm not even sure I like boys! I'm not even sure if he liked boys either! "Father, are you serious? Is he even gay?" I asked. "Yes," He said. "Plus you don't have a choice. I already asked his father to let him marry you. You two will go on a date if you like it or not."

I've never heard my father sound so serious before. It's like he wants me gone. I wanted to scream and smack him but instead I nodded quietly and went to my room to get dressed for the stupid date. Sorry, I lost my temper there. I meant just a date but now I wonder...is this love?
