"Hmph" I sigh in frustration as i walked into my office. I worked at KeeLee Enterprises, one of the most prestigious and well respected, regarded companies in Denmark. I worked as a computer analyst; is a professional who analyzes and improves an organization's computer systems and procedures.
I was furious. Travis, my ex, and I just broke up and I just found out that he had being cheating on me for the past three months with my sister.
I sat down, thinking about how my life came to be like this. How did I manage to let such a man have sex with me multiple times and I didn't mind, all in the name of Love. Pathetic!
"Rainbow!!!" Tiara, my best and only friend, who also miraculously turned out to be friends with the CEO of KeeLee Enterprises, yelled as she walked towards me.
"Hey! I have been calling your phone" she said, tapping on my phone that was on the desk annoyingly. Taking a close look at me, she gasped "are you okay, Rainbow?"
I looked at her and I felt so embarrassed and emotional. I shoke my head as tears welled up in my eyes.
"Oh no no no no no no darling! What's wrong? What's going on?" She asked as she rushed to give me a hug. I could smell her sweet scent of roses and lavender.
"Travis and I… umm…. We br—broke up" I felt nervous to tell her. Why? Because Travis worked here too and Tiara could go through any means possible to get him fired
"HE WHAT?!!!!" She released the hug and looked at me in disbelief
I nodded. I couldn't say anything.

"I really thought we had something, you know" I said, sniffing angrily like a child being deprived of their candy.
Tiara looked at me and shook her head in pity
"So, he did it with Zane?… your sister?" Tiara asked, her eyes widening at each moment and at each question she asked
I nodded and she sighed
Travis and I had been dating for eleven years now. In college, we'd talk about so many things. We laughed, we went hiking together and we even introduced ourselves to each other's parents. I thought he was my soulmate and by divine intervention, we were destined to be in love. But things don't always work out, do they? Ironic!
"Hey, don't be such a downer! Come on… when are you closing off work?" Tiara asked and smiled and I noticed how mischievous she looked at that moment
"What? Why? What are you planning to do this time?" I asked, feeling my heart pounding.
She sucked her teeth in, looking at me like she was comtemplating whether to hit me or not. But either way, she did hit me on the back of my head.
"So many questions, Rainbow" she said and suddenly smiled. "I want to take you somewhere" she winked and it dawned on me
"NO!!!!" I yelled and everyone around turned to look at me. Of course they couldn't say anything, they were afraid of Tiara.
Tiara was actually very good looking. Her bouncing curly blonde hair brought out her gray eyes. Tiara has being to three different marriages. All didn't work for her. Her first husband, Leo was an addict but was good in bed, her second husband Armir was into BDSM which disgusted Tiara and then her third husband Daniel was just so holy and loved to help others but was too shy. I really actually liked him though.
"I can't go to that club. You know what happens when we go there" I said, shifting uneasily on my chair
"Hmmm… Rainbow, Rainbow, Rainbow! What are you even talking about?…. Nothing happens" Tiara said, looking at me like was saying something totally crazy.
"Yes, something happens. They give us drugs, bring in stupid lunatics to come….ugh, am not going okay?" I said standing up. I couldn't breath. I felt like my lungs were engulfed in smoke and my chest was burning.
I rushed to the window and brought my head out and breathed in the cold air.
"Mmm… ah" I smiled as I felt unbothered for moment
"Rainbow!!" Tiara suddenly stood next to me, her head was outside too
"Ahhh… you startled me!" I said, pushing her slightly. She looked at me and laughed. I loved how she trusted me and treated me with kindness and love.
"Crazy bitch… I don't do drugs anymore and I don't go to that club anymore… In fact, am now a church person" she said, looking at me snicker
"Hahahaha…. What? You? Church? That's ironic… hahahahaa" I kept laughing even when she yelled for me to stop
Tiara's parents were Atheists; people who do not believe in any gods or deities.
"But seriously though…. I want you to come with me to our Family Reunion Party. Everyone you know, Everyone I know will be there" she held my hands. And I knew that it wasn't a request but a plea. Her mother had traveled for over two years and had returned, she wants be to be there so I can defend her in case she needed defending. I was all she got
I nodded. I will surely be there.

Yasmin's Manor…
Tiara asked me to wear something chic and very appalling- and that's what I did.
"Oh my goodness! Rainbow, you look stunning" Ella, one of our coworkers, said. Her smile showed how much envy and hatred she had for me… maybe not me, but definitely Tiara.
I wore a floral long sleeve shirt and a short skirt with my long black boots. And yes, I didn't wear panties.
"Rainbow?" I turned around as I saw Travis looking at me like he hadn't excepted to see me here. We looked at each other for a few seconds and I felt anger boil up in me and I left to go find Tiara. And of course, my plan failed as a bumbed into a tall young man who was hurriedly trying to leave the reunion party.
"Ouch!" I yelled and whined in pain. I looked at the man. It was Mr. Green, my Boss. My CEO… sorry, the CEO of KeeLee Enterprises.
I've only seen him in magazines and newspapers and internet and television. He looked so good looking. His ocean blue eyes suit him brunette hair and his small loved-shaped lips. Fuck, he looked like a snack!
"Miss… are you okay? You hit your head pretty hard on my arm" he said and I felt speechless as I heard his deep masculine manly voice and his hot breath on my face.
"Miss… you face is all red… are you sure you don't want me to take you to the hospital?" He asked again, and I felt thousands of thoughtful eyes staring down at me. Was I blushing?
I looked at him again and smiled.
"Am fine, thank you for your concern and… umm… am sorry I hit you" I said smiling like a crazy fool who hadn't seen a handsome, sexy hot man before.

But I didn't let him finish, I ran away.

"Tiara!" I yelled as i found a group of people gathered around her room.
What's going on?- I wondered
I pushed through and went inside
"NO!"
Tiara was lying on the cold marble floor, dead in the pool of her own blood.
"Tiara! Tiara!" Her mother kept shouting and screaming.
Was this why Mr. Green was running out like a thief? Did he do this? What could be wrong?
