"Good morning." I said, my husband was putting on his watch when he replied, "Good morning".
"Breakfast is ready" I told him, "I will just take a croissant and leave." he replied, walking into the kitchen,
"Can you come back home early today? Or at least tell me if you can't make it." I asked,
"What is all of this about? You know how busy I am. Still I try my best to make it home everyday." He rebuked.
"Then I will not be waiting for you tonight." I asserted.
"What is this attitude about? When is Louis coming back?" He asked, then took a croissant from the plate.
"Tomorrow. " I answered. "That's great, because you need someone to keep you company." He stated.
"I just need my husband to not make me worry about him and just tell me about his important whereabouts." I rebuked.
"Well then I am off." he said, "See you tonight." he continued walking out the entrance door.
After my husband left for work, I had breakfast. At 8:40 a.m., it was time to tackle some household chores. I started with the laundry. I went to our bedroom's bathroom and collected the dirty clothes. Then, I checked the bedroom for any other items that needed to be washed. As I approached the dresser, I noticed my husband's suit hanging from the chair. When I picked it up, a photograph fell from his suit coat pocket. It was a picture of a young woman, around my age. I picked it up and tucked it into my pocket before continuing with the laundry. Once I finished, I headed to my husband's office and placed the photo on his desk. Next, I went to the kitchen to prepare lunch for him. Just as I began, the house phone rang, and I rushed to the living room to answer it.
