Sometimes I wonder if my life would have been any different if they were stronger law on dating a minor,and if they were stronger consequences on it .

My name is Yvonne James and am from the northern part of the country.

They are sayings like if it's meant to be it will definitely happen but looking at how my life turned out I don't think this life say applied to it ,I come from the family of six three boys and three girls my dad is a military personnel why my mom is a petty trader and now my life took a different turn when I met Tyler James .

Tyler James is a guy from the eastern part of Nigeria third son of six boys .

We live in a room apartment and parlour with alot or neighbors,the type you get into fits every day and you have those lousy neighbors that never seems to be out of your business .

I wonder why those in service with the Nigeria government are paid so poorly,as a 16 years girl fully blessed with beauty and living in this can of neighborhoods

You definitely want to feel among and be like your friends.growing up in this neighborhood does not get easier by the day I could remember clearly it's still very free in my memory three years back when I started my menstruation I had no one to even asked about it I was so embarrassed and scared by it that I prayed for it to stop ,I thought it was the shorts my older sister gave me the other night that made me bleed I waited for several days for it to stop and never come again not knowing it was the norm .

Growing up in this neighborhood has not been always pleasant Tyler has been this older guy in the compound who barely talks to anyone but you can tell he was a nice guy he is very friendly with the kids and I have known him since I was 10 so it's very odd to think I would have had any relationship with him.

it was raining this Sunday morning every one at home had gone to the local church close to the house, I decided not to go , I was about heading out when Tyler called me saying he had something to say to me .

there was a vacant room in our compound I went there and we both seat down when Tyler began the conversation.

Yvonne you know you are a very beautiful girl right I really like you and I would like you to be my girlfriend ,

I was really dumbfounded I couldn't believe what Tyler had just said he was way older than me and I have never seen him in that aspect before I could even rap my head around what was going on Tyler pulled me in for a kiss and I couldn't even resist I just kissed him back , after some minutes of kissing passionately I pulled back to catch my breath , after promising Tyler I would think about it I went home quietly before anyone could see us both.

my dad is a very strict military type,the type who you don't want to mess with,but there is a saying that too much of everything is bad despite the fact we had a strict dad I could say all my siblings including me are all very stubborn ,its a Monday morning and we were all set for school and I still can't get Tyler off my mind I was still mesmerized by the kiss .

I am in jss 3 planning on taking my junior school first leaving certificate ,and you could say I was the really quiet type,I barely had friends before I got to this new school but when I got here I made a new best friend for myself .

I could say at sixteen all the teenage girl are becoming rebellious and all had boyfriends and due to the pressures from all this I was certain I was ready to make Tyler mine too.

school was as boring as always nothing seems to excite me it was during the break period that I could finally get a hold of my best friend

howfar nah she said to me sitting a bit far I waved for her to get closer

when she got to the spot I was sitting I began to tell her about my encounter with Tyler and you could tell from her expression she was very happy

her bestie has finally gotten herself and she obviously can't wait to see the lucky man .
