Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Gathering of Shadows

At the age of seven, Loras had already learned how to manipulate the world around him. His cultivation, although hidden from the public, had reached the Nascent Soul realm in its peak form. No one could see it, but it was there, wrapped in secrecy, waiting for the right moment to reveal itself. At this age, Loras was still playing the role of the innocent heir of the Doom family, but his mind was far beyond his years. He had already begun to take the first steps toward building his organization, the Shadow Scorpion.

The Shadow Scorpion was born from Loras's desire for control. He knew that power lay in the shadows, in the places where others dared not look. Using his immense intellect and his growing power, he began to gather those who were willing to serve him without question. These were not ordinary people. They were criminals, traitors, outcasts, and those with nowhere else to turn. Loras gave them purpose, gave them a reason to live — to serve him.

He started small, employing simple tactics to earn their loyalty. With his ability to read the future through the system, Loras knew which people to target, when to act, and how to turn them into his loyal followers. He offered them resources from the Doom family, and in return, they gave him their unwavering loyalty. Some came for the promise of power, others for wealth, but all were bound by a single truth — Loras controlled them.

As his organization grew, so did his influence. He kept his hand in the shadows, carefully manipulating events from behind the scenes. He watched as the people of the world carried on with their lives, oblivious to the strings he pulled. Those who crossed him found themselves eliminated, their fates sealed without mercy.

It wasn't long before rumors began to spread — whispers about a force that operated in the dark, a mysterious power that controlled the fate of the realms. But even these whispers were nothing more than speculation. Loras made sure of that. He wanted to remain a shadow, a phantom in the minds of those who would be foolish enough to challenge him. His true power, however, was building, piece by piece, as his organization infiltrated every corner of the worlds.

While the Doom family and its enemies were preoccupied with their petty disputes and battles for power, Loras was preparing for something far greater. He knew the son of fortune, the hero of the tales, would eventually rise. Loras had read the stories, and he knew exactly what would happen. But unlike those in the stories, he would not allow the son of fortune to grow to the heights they believed he could. He would eliminate him long before he had a chance to realize his potential.

And so, with the Shadow Scorpion expanding at a steady pace and Loras's cultivation silently progressing, the young heir of the Doom family continued to weave his web. The world may have believed him to be a child with extraordinary potential, but in truth, Loras was far more than that. He was the architect of his own future, and no one — not even the heroes of legend — would stand in his way.
