The full moon hung low in the night sky, casting an eerie glow over the city with the thick clouds surrounding it, as Mia stared it silently through the larye window in her bedroom. Just thinking of how fun their anniversary will be tomorrow, she couldn't wait to celebrate it, after some while, she landed heavily on her soft bed, preparing to take off, her eyes slowly diming adjusting to the sarkness in her mind, her eyes went shut, and then everything went dark.
The rays of the sun casted it rays on her face through the large window of her room as she opened her eyelids slowly to adjust to the sunlight stretching her arms fully she came down from the bed taking a stride to the well furnished and arranged bathroom to take her usual early morning shower but today was a special day as she took longer than before, after some hours she came out with a long pink towel wrapped round her body with her maroon coloured hair trailing down to her lower spine all wet. Picking up her phone, she dials a number, and after some seconds, a feminine voice spoke from the other side.
"Hey girl" she said, "hi," Mia said while selecting a designers cloth from her tall arranged wardrobe for the day, "I'm good, are you getting ready for our anniversary dinner?" Rachel asked over the line, "yeah girl" Mia responded with a cool smile on her face,"Okay, meet you soon, darling," Rachel added before ending the call.
 The sun lowered at the horizon, as it gave a beautiful view from the large window of the restaurant as Rachel sat patiently waiting for Mia's arrival after some while, she arrived at the restaurant with all glory, dressed in a long red gown with a deep v-neck shape which exposed her fair chest and breast. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite busy as other guests filled the restaurant chitchating and laughing.
"Hey, what took you long?" Rachel asked with a raised eyebrow, " got held up by the damn traffic." Mia replied, " I'm so famished honey," she added with a teasing laugh. "Let's give a toast to our 3rd year anniversary of being besties."Â
Rachel said after a bottle of red wine was placed on the table and two glass cups half filled. The clinking sound of the glass was quite simple and short as Rachel added a sly smile on her face, which made her look so sinister that moment.
They had a while eating and laughing and drinking they were almost the last to leave the restaurant. Walking side by side with each other, they left the restaurant and on their way home. "Umm, Mia, why don't we take a long walk down, just a stroll before getting a taxi?" Rachel suggested, Mia nodded slightly in agreement.
The fullmoon glow watched them silently from the sky as they walked on the road with their hand clenched to each other.
"So what's going on with your relationship with Alex?" Rachel asked, staring at Mia,"well nothing much, he's acting a bit distant this days" Mia replied with a concerned look on her face,"oh really, I've told you severally girl to leave him alone and forget about him" Rachel said with a heartless tone,"you know I can't leave Alex just like that, he's mine , I love him so much" Mia said as they kept on walking.
The pedestrian bridge was so high as the river was really broad below them, the rays of light from different surrounding buildings casted its rays on the blue river giving a good look, they walked slowly closed to the edge of the bridge as Rachel kept on staring at the wide river below them. "Dear Mia, you've been so blind to notice that Alex is a two-faced bitch. He's been lying to you all this while" Rachel added with a sinister smile which sent a hint of shivers on Mia spine,"what are you talking about Rachel", "well take a look at your fucking Alex having fun with me" Rachel added with a chuckle, showing her a numerous picture of her and Alex on a bed having sex," what the fuck is this Rachel, what the hell are you doing with Alex" Mia asked with fury in her eyes, without hesitation she draws her phone out and calls alex after some seconds Rachel drags the phone from her hand and flings it behind her, "you won't get to him honey" Rachel said, "your are a fucking bitch" Mia raged out and slapped Rachel on her face, "fuck" Rachel exclaimed as Mia suddenly dashed her another slap, "that's for betraying me and the friendship", " Mia it seems I've been soft on you, how about this" Rachel angrily said and slapped Mia very hard on her face, Mia loosing xontrol of balance suddenly tumbles sideways and falling from the bridge before the blink of an eye, Mia landed heavily into the water as her body drowned sorrowfully into the sea...
Rachel smiled crazily as she viewed Mia, tumbling down. Just then, her phone rang up, and she picked up the call with a smile she said. "Job done honey".
