Hello, Guys its me Lena,
In my world there are superpowers, so in general, there are superheroes and villains of course, I`m just a normal high school student who has no power. I have two best friends, Ann is the smart girl of the group, but has no power and Gwen is the sporty type who has a power name CLAW.
It's cool that students who has powers respect us even if we don`t have any.
Well, Let's see what happens next.
One day our teacher tasked us to go on his field trip to search for insects and plants, basically science. so we agreed to the field trip, we were so excited because we would not do homework or school, just research and have fun. When we prepare for our field trip we prepare basic needs for our camping, oh for your info we are sleeping in the forest overnight, which is Sooo exciting. The next day, Me, my classmate, and my friends. Took the bus, we traveled for 2 hrs. to go to the big forest.
When we arrived, we set up our stuff and proceeded to the center of the campsite, our teacher instructed us on what to do, when our curfew would be, what safety guidelines, and what you do if we loss. We listen carefully, well except for Gwen who is doing her stuff. When the teacher instructs us to start, Gwen immediately enters the deep forest. We followed her and started the research, we found many amazing insects some have vibrant colors, some with interesting parts of their body and some who are very busy at their work/job. We were fascinated.
While we were searching for another insect we found out that the sun was setting so we had to go back to the campsite but there was a problem we got the loss and can`t find the campsite we try to do the instructions of our teacher on what to do if your loss but its not working so we continue walking until we find a old building that looks like an old laboratory that has not been used for like a decade. Ann didn't agree that we stay at this old building in a night, but I forced her to enter I didn't know why Ann didn't like to enter but we need to or else we will get even lost or get be eaten by wild animals at nught with no light. As we enter we found many laboratory stuff like beakers, cylinders, liquids. We even found guns which is strange why will there be guns in the laboratory but i didn't think as much, while i continue to explore Ann assigned us to find food/water so we search the area, while we search for food. Gwen calls us that she found something, we follow her and saw a basement, its not a scary basement because there`s a light so we went there and as we go down at the basement one of our classmate slipped, and injured her knees we helped her get down. As we opened the door to the basement we saw a big storage of weapons and even big tubes that can fit a human and the most shocking of all is a big bomb, we all agree that we not gonna touch any of the weapons.
We explore the whole basement u til we found a box full of food and water we are so happy that there`s food, of course we celebrate, Then Ann immediately decides to bring the food and water, and to go up the stairs, and slowly exit the building and we agreed so we follow her decision.
as usual Gwen didn`t follow and goes in the bomb and climbs it, Ann shouting to Gwen to get down, when Gwen agrees to get down, we heard a ticking sound. we notice its the bomb ticking, My body shivers it didn't move. And we only have 10 sec left to run. We all run upstairs as fast as we could. I noticed that one of our classmate is having a hard time climbing the stairs I called Gwen and Ann to helped me, we carried our classmate, I was scared it really is a big bomb even if we run far it will still reach us but We still run hoping for safety. And the bomb hits zero EXPLODES!! Boom. I blocked out
When I squint my eyes. I saw a burned forest, I looked at my hand that looks dirty, frale, weak and I saw bones in my hands. I want to panicked but my body is paralyzed I can't moved, Then I saw people wearing a protective suit. when i slowly closing my eyes somebody came to me and said "THERE`s A SURVIVOR". and then i died.
"I thought i was dead."
When I heard an annoying sound beeping like it was a alarm I woke up and I am shocked, why am I still alive I questioned my self again and again why, when I look in my surroundings I am in a room, I know its not a hospital and I know its not my home so I panicked. Then someone entered the room it was a woman. She is surprise that I am awake and goes outside telling a certain person that I'm awake, when he/she entered the room she look like a teenage girl like my age, she has a nervous face, its like she`s telling me some bad news I am worried on what she`s gonna say, and she open`s her mouth and said to me, "condolence to your friends and classmate I`m sorry for what happened". I paused for a while, figuring out what did she said did i heard it correctly?. When i finally realized, I panicked and telling them its not true right, what`s happening and said to myself NO they can`t be dead right when I looked again in her eyes, her eyes is telling the truth. I cried in tears, and blamed myself its all my fault I forced NO i decide that We will enter the building I shout I want to go home and see their family. She opens her mouth again, she said No you can`t go home,( I paused). I`m confused. then she spoke do you ever notice why you're still alive and why you didn`t die even your close to the building, i didn't understand what she's saying all i can think about is my friends who are dead and-and then she spoke again "Because you have a power, A Very POWERFUL one".
