Chapter 1 - CHAPTER ONE: Nights of Suns

In the heart of Magina, the city pulsed with vibrant life. Towering skyscrapers adorned with holographic advertisements painted the skyline in hues of electric blue and crimson. Streets bustled with the hum of vehicles and the rhythmic cadence of footsteps, a symphony of order and progress. The city radiated the illusion of safety, a haven where danger felt like a distant memory. Yet, beyond the towering walls encircling Magina, a wasteland stretched—a desolate expanse teeming with monstrous beasts and abominations.

Years ago, humanity fought a bloody war against these creatures. The tide of the battle turned not through sheer numbers but thanks to the Elites—rare individuals gifted with supernatural powers. Once hailed as saviors and protectors, the Elites stood as humanity's champions. But times changed, and so did humanity's trust.

A man named Sukai emerged as the harbinger of this change. Charismatic and shrewd, he rose to prominence by questioning the necessity of the Elites. He demonstrated that the beasts beyond the walls, when slain, dropped items imbued with supernatural power—items that could rival or even surpass the abilities of the Elites. Sukai became the face of a new era, wielding these items with godlike prowess. He challenged the Elites, and in a climactic battle, he crushed them effortlessly.

Sukai's victory was more than physical—it was ideological. He labeled the Elites as "freaks" and "beasts," no different from the monsters they once fought against. His words turned the public against them, and soon, the Elites were exiled beyond the walls of Magina, left to fend for themselves in the wasteland.

But the Elites did not perish. Driven by resilience and ingenuity, they built a sanctuary in the unforgiving wilds. They founded a small village, nurtured it, and over time, it grew. Generations passed, and their descendants, known as Misulas, were born with latent powers. Though weaker than their ancestors, the Misulas possessed potential, and the Elites devoted themselves to fostering it.

What began as a humble village flourished into a thriving nation—a beacon of unity and hope named the Country of Nations (C.O.N). Unlike Magina, C.O.N welcomed all, regardless of origin. Refugees, wanderers, and outcasts found solace within its borders. It became a melting pot of cultures and abilities, a testament to the strength of diversity.

But such prosperity came at a cost. The rise of C.O.N threatened Magina's dominance. Tensions escalated, and eventually, war erupted. For decades—some claimed centuries—the two powers clashed. Each battle forged stronger warriors and deadlier weapons. Yet, amid their relentless conflict, both sides remained blind to the real threat growing in the shadows.

Beyond the walls of their respective territories, the beasts and monsters evolved. Their numbers swelled, and their strength surpassed anything seen before. Unchecked and unchallenged, they thrived in the chaos, preparing for the moment when humanity's infighting would leave them vulnerable.

As the city of Magina basked in its artificial glow, and the Country of Nations stood tall in defiance, the nights grew longer, and the sun's warmth felt ever more distant. Unbeknownst to all, the beasts beyond the walls were no longer just a threat. They were a reckoning, and their time was near.
