"Charlotte, Charlotte, Charlotte, wake up!"
The little girl's eyes fluttered open and the first thing she made sense of was the ceilings in her room and then her favorite snow-white bed lamp beside her before her sleepy brown eyes fell on the young boy her age grinning brightly at her face from her bedside.
His name was Jackson, and he had just clocked four just like her. He was three months and eleven days younger than her which made her his senior.
The boy's face was the most adorable. She still hated how he still managed to keep his baby face when she lost hers the moment she was one.
She rose to a sitting position with a massive frown on her face. It's annoying how he would leave his father's house as early as five in the morning, sneak into her room like the little rat he was to disturb her.
