It came as a shock when Evangeline heard her brothers wanted to talk to her on the night before she would be going against them. She blinked multiple times even cleaning her ears to make sure she heard the maids right when they came to her room for the summon.
She still couldn't imagine it as they helped her get into one of those oversized puffy blue and white fur winter coats.
She thought they hated her down to her shadow.
