That's brutal", Rhett said, his face emitting shock.
Dhamsel sighed as she turned left, still going straight but just moving perhaps to get farther from Rhett.
"We're basically dragon hunters, our job is to kill them, that's how we survive", she paused and turning her head backwards to look at Rhett's face, she said: "You sound too soft for 'king' of the dragon slayers". She accompanied the words with a scoff, one that almost irritated Rhett.
Rhett became silent after that and slowed his pace, walking behind Ash now who looked at him in the face and with a smile, shrugged.
"Basically the same thing she did to me a couple of minutes ago, I'd definitely say and I know you'll agree with me, that she lacks manners",Ash said.
"Haha", Rhett laughed sarcastically. "Don't say that in her presence".
Ash grinned at that and kept quiet.
Dhamsel was already far away from them and they had to run a bit to catch up with her. Her long majestic gown swayed with the wind as usual and it radiated, the more, her royal flair, dazzling and impressive. Her walking posture was also topnotch and as she walked, Rhett couldn't help but stare at her bums that twitched as she moved.
He almost even got hard.
Ash noticed the stare and touched him gently on his hands, this made Haicor to look at them, but she made no comments, to her, whatever they were doing were none of her business, maybe it was just 'manly' things.
"I hope you are not harbouring any sign of romantic stuff with her?",Ash asked.
Rhett was shocked with the touch and even the question but he waved them with a hurried scoff, a scoff he didn't do quite so well.
"No, no!", he exclaimed. "Not at all, at this moment it just caught my attention, her gown by the way".
Ash was silent for some moments and with a more serious voice, he said:
"That is not what we're here for, I'd advise, as your assistant, that you don't fall for that, I don't trust her and I advise you to do the same".
Rhett nodded in the affirmative and remained silent as they walked after Dhamsel who had totally ignored them and was going solo.
Looking sideways, Rhett, Ash and Haicor saw men and women in hunting regalia. To be precise, the men were wearing sleeveless jackets, made of what looked like dragon skins. Breeches followed that, breeches also made of dragon skins.
The females were clothed in gowns, once similar to Dhamsel's but with less posh decorations and the rest. The gowns were simply plain and varying with different colours.
Rhett nodded to greet them but they didn't respond, instead they wore frowns that seemed to tear into his soul.
"Definitely not friendly", Rhett whispered to Ash. "Don't bother greeting".
"Definitely not taking the risk", came the reply from Ash.
Haicor, hearing their conversation, she too didn't bother to 'take the risk' according to Ash. And so they just kept a straight face as they walked through.
They were soon past the hut and now facing a majestic building. Its roof was built with lead, really good ones that made it almost glisten.
It had pillars, ones with different colours, giving it a rainbow like look. The walls were painted violet and even though Rhett knew why, he couldn't resist the urge to ask. He tried asking Dhamsel who was far from his reach but dismissed the thought, her demeanor wasn't even inviting.
And so they walked towards the majestic building in silence, almost at it, with the squinting of his eyes, Rhett saw, to his surprise, two shirtless guards with violet trousers standing behind the door of the building.
The door looked golden in a violet way, it was violet by the way but in a golden manner that amazed Rhett, even Ash and Haicor. Its knob, also violet, was glistening like something that got sprayed with water. It looked like glitters though, Rhett was almost confused at that.
This scene was utterly peak.
They neared the gate and with a seemingly rude wave of her hands Dhamsel signalled for the two guards to move aside for her to pass. One opened the door and moved aside quickly, the two of them bowing in greeting.
Rhett, Ash and Haicor exchanged glances, they couldn't say what prompted them to do so but it seemed, probably, because they were getting to enter the palace.
With Dhamsel swinging the door open, they were into the palace. Bulbs, violet bulbs, was the first thing their eyes saw, shiny, bright bulbs , it made the place violet. The bulbs were big and not the regular bulb but an interesting, cool and delicate (if that's the word) bulb. It was big and looked like it was made of leather.
There were also chandeliers, shining violet lights, it even made their shadows to be violet and Rhett couldn't help but wonder, the king's obsession with the colour VIOLET!.
Sideways were guards, armed in violet Knight's armour, filling the walls. They held swords, ones that, due to the lightning of the place, were also violet in colour. Infact!, their knight's armour was violet, their shields and even their helmets. Ones that Haicor felt were too big for their heads.
They all, in unison, bowed to Dhamsel as she walked past them. She responded with an abrupt wave of her hands, and they in turn responded with nods.
Rhett tried to look cool but could he?, with his torn trousers and his clothes, he was far from cool. Ash appeared normal and frankly, his appearance didn't quite bother him. He had seen far worse than improper clothing. Haicor was dressed pretty decent so she didn't quite bother.
"We have visitors I see", a voice that sounded like a frog that had just drank a mug of expired beer said.
"Yes father, apparently we do", Dhamsel said, quite on the top of her voice.
Ash quickly froze and Rhett was surprised at that.
"What?", Rhett asked.
Ash didn't respond quickly but…
…he knew that man, he had…
…hell!, he had once fought him before!.
Where?.
At the battle stadium!.
