Just then, a sudden burst of pain exploded inside Asher's skull, knocking him to the ground and making him feel as if he were about to black out.
"Ah! What the fuck?!" He cried out, holding his head as the pain intensified, threatening to consume him. And then, amidst the excruciating pain, strange images, information, and memories began to flash before his eyes.
The information came in the form of a bright and glowing light, flooding Asher's mind and making it difficult for him to think clearly. The light contained an overwhelming amount of knowledge and images of a world completely unknown to him, a world where people used mana to perform magic.
He saw visions of people using this power in various ways. Some of them used it to conjure fireballs or bolts of lightning, others to heal wounds, and some even used it to summon strange creatures to do their bidding.
Asher could also sense an underlying energy in everything, the mana of the world. He saw people draw on that mana, focusing their willpower to shape and manipulate it for their purposes.
He could see that there was a great diversity of skills, abilities, and techniques that people could use, from combat to healing, to support, and even transportation.
Along with them, memories of his own past in this new world began to appear before him. In those memories, he was a child who grew up with a loving mother, and they lived in a world that seemed far different than his previous one.
He could see himself, growing up in this new world, playing and learning about magic and how it was a natural part of his life. He also remembered his mother teaching him the basics of Mana Manipulation, showing him how to control his willpower to manipulate Mana.
She had also taught him about the dangers of Mana manipulation, the consequences of pushing his limits, and how to use Mana Manipulation safely. Asher felt a deep love and connection with this mother of his, and he could see that she loved him more than anything.
However, he soon saw that his mother was killed in the aftermath of a bloody battle between a powerful mage and a terrifying monster. Asher saw his mother pushing him into a small chamber in the ground, telling him to wait for her as she ran off in another direction. The memory of her running away from him was so vivid that Asher could still see the tears streaming down her face as she ran away from him.
Asher had never felt such intense emotion in all his life, the overwhelming sadness, anger, and loss that came from losing his mother. It felt like the heart had been ripped from his chest, and he was powerless to stop it.
"The fucking hero-wannabe!" Asher said, his voice trembling with rage and sorrow. "They always cause so much destruction. I bet they were responsible for her death. They always talk about saving lives, but in reality, they are the ones putting innocent lives at risk." His words were laced with venom, the kind of hatred that could not be easily forgotten.
Asher knew that he had taken over this body and that the original soul was no longer there. However, the emotions and memories of this person's life were still fresh and raw, and Asher felt as though he had experienced them himself. He could feel the pain and sadness of losing his mother, as if he had been there, and it was a powerful feeling that he would never forget.
As the pain subsided, the memories and information began to settle in his mind, and he was able to get a clearer picture of the world he was in. The world's name was Aethera, a place that was rich with mana, a mysterious and powerful energy that could be manipulated by people.
The people in Aethera were born with a core and veins that are capable of absorbing the mana of the surroundings, and with training and discipline, they could manipulate this energy in various ways, such as to cast spells, strengthen their bodies, and enhance their abilities.
Asher found it strange that he was not in his own body, yet the new one seemed familiar to him as well. He knew that he was now in the body of an 18-year-old young man who lived in this world, and that he was also named Asher.
However, despite the similarities in the name and appearance, this Asher was very different from his own personality, and the life experiences were vastly different. Yet, he felt a connection to this new life and body, and it was as if he had lived this life for the past 18 years.
Soon, a new memory came to the surface. This one was of a recent event that had happened just a few hours before. When he saw what the memory contained, his entire face turned red with anger.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" Asher screamed. It was clear from the memory that someone was targeting him; they had used a powerful spell to manipulate him. They wanted to make him do something, something that was against his own will and that could potentially have disastrous consequences.
"No. It's not me that they were targeting, but this fucking woman," Asher corrected himself, looking at the beautiful naked woman that was still lying unconscious on the grass.
Then he felt her face was familiar. He tried to think of who she looked like and was horrified at the realization that hit him.
She looked exactly like a character from one of the stories he hated reading back in the real world. "Fuck, is she really the character I think she is? She's from the web novel 'The Holy Knight,' one of the stories that made me mad and frustrated. If this is true, then this is fucked up."
