Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - Big Surprise

Elsa and Isabela were cruising through Night City in the Sapphire Viper, a sleek, high-tech car that hummed with power as it cut through the night. Isabela leaned back in her seat, her eyes scanning the illuminated cityscape outside, yet she couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation.

"Where are we going?" Isabela asked, raising an eyebrow as she shot Elsa a playful glance.

Elsa smirked, her hands firm on the wheel. "It's a surprise."

Isabela's curiosity flared. "Come on, Elsa. At least give me a hint."

But Elsa only shook her head, her lips curling into a teasing smile. "Not a chance."

Without warning, Elsa clicked a button on the dashboard. The car's sleek exterior seemed to shudder as the vehicle transformed—its body shifting and parts clicking into place. Before Isabela could fully process what was happening, the car shot forward, accelerating faster than she could have imagined.

The force of the speed pushed Isabela back into her seat, the G-forces pressing against her chest. She blinked in surprise. "What the—"

After fully registering what just happened, Isabela smirked and said.

"I bet that works on every girl who sat in this seat," she said with a sly grin.

Elsa's voice was calm but full of warmth. "You're the only one who's ever sat in that seat, my ebony angel."

Isabela's heart fluttered at her words. Her mind raced—no one had ever made her feel this way, and no one else had ever made her feel so special. She thought she might be looking for someone like Elsa her whole life, but she never thought she would actually find them.

As the car continued its breakneck speed, they entered the flying traffic, weaving around massive skyscrapers rising high into the sky. Isabela stared out the window, awe-struck. Only the rich could experience something as magical as a flying car.

They soared toward the heart of Night City, the skyline shifting as they passed towering, illuminated mega-buildings that only the elite had access to. Soon, they approached a relatively small skyscraper. Yet, what it lacked in size, it made up for in beauty.

The skyscraper stood in stark contrast to the towering giants that surrounded it—its design both minimalistic and breathtaking. It was a beacon of understated elegance in the midst of the urban chaos. The building's façade shimmered with an iridescent sheen, the glass panels reflecting the neon glow of the city, almost as though it were made of liquid silver. As Isabela and Elsa's flying car approached, the structure seemed to shift in the light, with hints of soft blues, purples, and greens dancing along the surface, like a holographic mirage.

The top of the skyscraper was crowned with a series of glowing, organic curves—almost resembling petals, folding and unfolding as if alive. The lower levels featured sleek, angular lines, their sharp edges softened by the soft glow from embedded lights within the glass, which ran like veins along the sides of the building. It had a futuristic yet natural feel, as if the building was designed to be a living, breathing part of the city.

A series of holographic banners adorned the exterior, shifting with the wind in subtle patterns, displaying both abstract art and the building's name in elegant, glowing letters.

Elsa expertly landed the Sapphire Viper on a platform that extended from the building. She and Isabela stepped out of the car, their hands intertwined, as they were greeted by a staff member who escorted them inside.

The interior was sleek, futuristic, and refined—polished floors and walls of glass that offered a panoramic view of the city below. They walked down a hall, the lights dimming as they approached their destination. The atmosphere was serene, a stark contrast to the chaotic energy of the city outside.

They entered a private room, where two beautiful, high-backed chairs sat waiting. Attached to each chair was a strange helmet. In between the chairs, there was a strange device, unlike anything Isabela had seen before.

She turned to Elsa, her voice filled with wonder. "This is... wonderful. What's all this?"

Elsa chuckled softly, walking toward the device. "No, mi amor. This is the surprise."

Isabela's confusion was palpable, and Elsa couldn't help but laugh at the look on her face. "This device is called the Empathic Resonator," Elsa explained.

Isabela raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

Elsa continued, "Psionic users can imprint their emotions onto objects. Someone had the bright idea of having these emotions imprinted onto chips, which could then be read by a device like this. At first, it was pretty useless… until some rich guy thought it would be cool to experience the emotions of the actors. So, PM movies were born. Actors who are psionically gifted imprint their emotions on chips, and people can experience their feelings during the movie."

Isabela's eyes widened. "Wait... So, it's like you can feel what they felt in the movie?"

Elsa laughed, a playful twinkle in her eye. "Exactly. But, of course, you have to be rich enough to afford it."

Isabela chuckled. "I bet."

"The real surprise," Elsa said, her voice softening as she glanced away, a rare flush creeping onto her cheeks. She cleared her throat, her usual confident demeanor slipping just a little. "I... I wrote a love story," she continued, her words coming slower now, as if she were hesitant to reveal too much. "And, uh, I had a PM movie made... just for us to watch tonight."

Elsa avoided Isabela's gaze, her fingers fidgeting slightly with the collar of her jacket. She usually had control over everything—over her world, her emotions—but this was different. She had poured her heart into something personal, and for the first time in a long while, Elsa felt vulnerable. She didn't know how Isabela would react to this, how her heart would respond to something so... intimate.

Isabela's breath caught in her chest as Elsa revealed the surprise. Her heart raced, and she could feel warmth flooding her cheeks, but it wasn't from embarrassment—it was from the sheer beauty of what Elsa had just shared.

"You... you wrote a love story?" Isabela's voice was barely a whisper, her eyes wide with disbelief. She took a step closer, studying Elsa's face for any sign that this wasn't real. "And you had a whole PM movie made just for us?"

Elsa nodded, still avoiding her gaze, a soft flush coloring her features.

Isabela's mind was reeling. She had known Elsa was powerful, intelligent, and strong, but this? This was something else entirely. Something deeply personal. Something that made Isabela's chest tighten with both admiration and longing.

Isabela couldn't help herself. She stepped closer, her voice trembling just a little as she spoke. "I... I don't know what to say. My heart... it's—" She laughed softly, shaking her head. "It's racing. I never thought someone could do something so... beautiful for me."

She paused, taking Elsa's hands in hers. "This... this is too much. You've taken my breath away, Elsa. I've never felt so—" Her voice broke a little as she looked at Elsa with a mixture of awe and something deeper, something that couldn't be contained.

Elsa met her eyes then, and Isabela smiled, a little teasing, but her voice was filled with sincerity. "My family was right—you're totally bad for me."

Elsa flashed a grin, her tone teasing. "So bad for you... but you can't stop asking for more." Her smile was a silent victory.

"I really enjoy writing this chapter. Anyway if you made it this far thanks for reading my story. like, comment and subscribe wait this isn't youtube lol."
