After what felt like an eternity of near-death experiences, I finally found myself back in the comfort of my bed. Looking at the time i realized that it was the next day, Saturday.

'This time, the time outside the system world passed! Is it for the increased difficulty?' i thought before placing this on the back of my mind.

The familiarity of the room brought a sense of calm, but it did little to quell the turmoil within me. I stared at the ceiling with my body relaxed but my mind racing.

This wasn't fiction. This was my reality now, and I had been far too reckless in treating it otherwise. Every battle, every injury, it all hit me at once.

I shook my head, forcing myself to sit up. The faint glow of the system panel materialized before me, pulling my attention to my updated stats.

I stared at the numbers, marveling at the precise increase in my abilities. Fighting those clones had pushed me beyond what I thought was possible, and my stats were a testament to that growth. But it wasn't enough. I needed more.

I exhaled sharply, thinking about the challenges ahead. The bully council's executives would soon come for my head, but protecting my parents had to come first. Their safety couldn't be left to chance, not while I was tangled in this mess.

I navigated the system, determined to maximize my chances of survival. The credits had to go toward boosting my health and mana.

Just as my MP reached 5,000, the system's cold voice chimed.

Milestone reached: MP exceeds 5,000.

Cost adjustment: 10 MP now costs 100 Credits.

---

I groaned. "Figures they'd jack up the price now."

My MP was now sitting at 5,000, and I decided to stop increasing it for now. With the remaining 2,880 credits, I turned my attention to my HP.

---

[System Notification]

---

That brought my total HP to 10,000, hitting another milestone.

I still had credits left and decided to push my HP further, aiming for 15,000. But with the new price adjustment, I quickly realized I didn't have enough. I spent the remaining 1,120 credits, increasing my HP by 1,120.

I clenched my fists, feeling the new energy coursing through my veins. My body felt stronger, sharper, more resilient than ever before. I had no regrets about spending all my credits. I'd already purchased every skill available in the shop, and Gun's style karate was far beyond my reach for now. There was no point in holding onto the credits when survival demanded more immediate power.

I stood up, the early morning light filtering through the blinds, and headed for the bathroom. After relieving myself, I walked over to the sink and splashed cold water on my face. My eyes caught my reflection in the mirror, and for a moment, I paused.

I'd seen my face every day, but now it was undeniably different. My features had sharpened; my jawline was more defined, my cheekbones more prominent. I'd grown taller, standing at 180 cm, with my frame lean yet muscular, every inch of me honed for efficiency. My once-boyish face now carried a mature, almost serene expression, my eyes steady and calm.

I brushed my wet hair back and took a closer look. For a second, I thought, I look like Gun... younger, maybe, but the resemblance is there. I let out a small, almost imperceptible chuckle. It wasn't something I minded. If anything, it felt fitting.

{A/N: I don't care for the glaze, fight me!}

After drying my hands, I headed to the living room where my parents were already up. My mother sat on the couch in her usual spot, scrolling through her phone with a cup of tea beside her. My father, still in his button-down shirt from the day before, sat at the dining table, a folder of documents open before him.

They looked up as I entered the room, my footsteps soft against the wooden floor.

"Jin." my mother said, her brow furrowing slightly. "You're up early."

My father set his pen down, his sharp eyes observing me closely. "You look... different."

"I've been training." I replied simply, my voice steady.

My mother tilted her head, a small smile breaking through her concerned expression. "We know. You have already told us last time, but these changes in the past couple of months.. Is everything alright?"

My father crossed his arms. "Let's cut to the chase. I can see it in your eyes, you've got something to tell us."

I nodded, taking a seat across from them. "There's something you both need to know."

Their curious expressions shifted to concern as I began to explain. I told them about the bully council, about the danger I was in, and how things were escalating.

My mother gasped, her hands flying to her mouth. "Jin, you can't deal with this alone! We should call the police-"

"They can't do anything." I interrupted calmly. "Not without evidence. The bully council operates under the radar, and getting the authorities involved without proof will only put you in more danger."

My father's expression darkened. "So what's your plan?"

I leaned forward. "I'm working on gathering evidence. Once I have enough, I'll need your help to make sure it reaches the right people."

He nodded slowly, his sharp mind already analyzing the situation. "I know some people who can help, lawyers, private investigators. But you'll need to bring me something solid."

"I will." I said firmly.

My mother's hands trembled slightly as she set her tea down. "I don't know what I can do to help... I'm just a nurse. But I'll make sure you're eating properly. You and your friends. You'll need your strength."

A faint smile tugged at my lips. "Thanks, Mom. That means more than you know."

My father leaned back, his gaze steady. "Is this what's been driving you these past months? All that training, has it been because of this?"

I hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "I needed to grow stronger to protect you both."

The room fell silent, the weight of my words settling over us. My mother wiped her eyes, a mixture of worry and pride on her face. My father exhaled deeply, his expression softening.

"You're a good kid, Jin." he said. "We trust you. Just promise us you'll be careful."

"I promise." I said, though we all knew caution could only go so far in a situation like this.

As I stood to leave, my father called out again.

"Jin."

I turned back to face him.

"We're proud of you."

The words settled in my chest like a warm ember. I gave them a small nod before heading back to my room. There was no time to waste. The stakes were higher than ever, and I couldn't afford to lose.
