Chapter 52 - Chapter 52

It takes time to enter the game. The next player can only enter after the previous player has finished listening to the explanation of the game.

Naturally, Piro entered first to ensure safety.

After waiting for a few minutes, it was Rocky's turn to enter the game.

Rocky had agreed with Piro earlier that they would meet at the starting point.

On their way to the game, Rocky had briefly explained what *Greed Island* was.

When Piro learned that the game was created by Nen users and that death in the game meant death in reality, he was utterly shocked. Being a novice Nen user, Piro clearly hadn't grasped the true depth and danger of Nen.

Rocky arrived at the initial hut and was greeted by a woman standing in front of him.

If Rocky remembered correctly, her name was Eta. Eta is in charge of the reception of incoming players, her main role being to explain the basic rules of the game. She monitors everyone that comes to the island, from players to intruders.

While listening to Eta's explanation, Rocky couldn't help but analyze her.

*Transmuter or Conjurer,* he thought. Although he had no evidence to support this, it was a gut feeling that seemed accurate.

When Eta finished explaining, Rocky glanced at her indifferently.

"Isn't it boring to stay in this place all the time?" he asked suddenly.

The unexpected question caused Eta's standard smile to falter slightly.

Few players realized she was a real person right away. This player, "Kuruta~Ro," was certainly unusual.

Eta had noticed earlier that he seemed to be a companion of the player with the ID "Kuruta~Pai," who had entered just before him.

However, Eta was under no obligation to answer questions unrelated to the game. She simply smiled politely at Rocky, signaling that she wouldn't answer.

Seeing her response, Rocky left without pressing further.

Despite this, Rocky's curiosity remained piqued. As real people, how could Eta and her twin, Elena—who handled the exit process—spend all their time on *Greed Island* without growing bored?

Even more intriguing was the initial hut itself.

If his instincts were correct, this structure was a materialized creation. The glowing white patterns on the walls, flowing like liquid light, were particularly fascinating.

The patterns seemed meaningless, but Rocky suspected they concealed divine scripts.

*There must be many divine scripts in this room,* he thought.

Receiving players from across the world and guiding them here required immense power. At his current level, Rocky couldn't even dream of achieving such an effect with his own Nen.

*Greed Island really is extraordinary.*

Outside the hut, Rocky spotted Piro waiting near the entrance.

The younger man hadn't even descended the steps.

"Rocky, are we officially in the game now?" Piro asked, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Rocky nodded. "Yeah, we're in."

Piro looked around curiously. "Is this the same island we accidentally landed on before?"

Rocky rolled his eyes. "Of course not. This isn't the seaside!"

"Uh…" Piro scratched his head awkwardly. "So, what do we do now? How do we find our tribesmen?"

Hearing this, Rocky paused on the last step and turned to face him.

"Our first priority isn't finding the tribe," Rocky said firmly. "It's becoming stronger."

"Becoming stronger?" Piro repeated, confused.

Rocky didn't elaborate. To locate their tribe, they would inevitably have to face Razor. But finding Razor was no simple task. Even if they succeeded, there was no guarantee he would reveal the tribe's location without a fight.

Rocky also considered that many of their tribesmen, who had likely been expelled to various locations, might already have encountered danger—or even death.

If any of them had died, Rocky silently vowed to avenge them. But for now, survival and strength were paramount.

Piro hesitated. "Wouldn't finding the tribe sooner make them safer?"

Rocky's gaze hardened. "Those in danger may already be beyond saving. Those who survive will either unleash their potential or learn to fend for themselves. It's been a long time. Waiting a little longer won't make much difference."

Reluctantly, Piro nodded. "Alright. I'll follow your lead."

Rocky had a plan. If he couldn't locate Razor directly, the best way to force an encounter was through the game itself—by triggering specific events.

The eight-on-eight dodgeball match was one such opportunity. However, unlike Gon and Killua, Rocky didn't have a team of powerful Nen users at his disposal. He would have to rely solely on himself.

This meant it was time to develop his own Nen abilities further.

As a Conjurer, it was natural for him to create a nen beast. However, most Conjurer-based nen beasts lacked autonomy, requiring constant control.

Against someone like Razor, such abilities were unlikely to succeed.

Rocky had another idea: enhancing his proficiency in the Emitter category.

If he could integrate Emitter category into his Nen, it would significantly boost his overall capabilities. In this way, the power that Rocky's various categories can exert could became something like this.

*Conjurer: 100%

Transmuter: 80%

Specialist: 0%

Manipulator: 80%

Enhancer: 80%

Emitter: 100%*

With this balance, Rocky's abilities across multiple categories would become far more versatile and powerful.

As Rocky contemplated his strategy, a loud roar suddenly echoed through the sky.

*Crack!*

A surge of Nen energy rippled through the air, and a figure descended, landing directly in front of Rocky and Piro.

Piro's jaw dropped in shock, his mouth wide enough to swallow an egg.

Rocky, on the other hand, simply curled his lips in annoyance.

"So, the newbie bully shows up already?"

The man grinned wickedly. "Another batch of rookies, huh? I haven't seen fresh meat in a while!"

He cracked his knuckles menacingly. "Looks like you two are my chickens!"
