Chapter 6 - First Spin

Stephen's POV

[Fan Values: 337

Collection Modes:

-Manga]

"Alright, not too shabby," I muttered. "Time to convert this into Gacha Points."

[Conversion to Gacha Points initiated...]

[Fan Values: 7

Gacha Points: 42]

"Okay, so it's 10 to 1," I said, running a hand through my hair as I looked at the numbers. "But of course, there's a catch max conversion is 1000 Fan Values for 100 Gacha Points a month. Figures."

I let out a sigh, leaning back in my chair. "So basically, I'm capped at 100 Gacha Points from Fan Values monthly. Great."

Still, I couldn't complain too much. The leftover Fan Values wouldn't go to waste. There was always the possibility of unlocking the system shop, and if that happened, I could use Fan Values to buy whatever they had in stock.

I scratched my chin, thinking it over. "Guess I'd better keep stacking those Fan Values. Never know when I'll need to cough up a stupid amount for something worth it."

I took a deep breath and stretched my arms. "Alright, enough thinking. Let's get to the fun part. It's spin time."

The moment my Gacha Points hit zero, the system interface lit up, and fourteen cards appeared before me in a burst of color.

RC Suppressants String

Scorpion 56/56

Auspicious Dragon Medal

Rize Kamishiro's Glasses

Kakuhou

Contract Card x8

Juuzou Suzuya

Touka Kirishima's Mask

The Black Goat's Egg

Traveling Card: 1 month

Corpse

Random World x1

Ryoujirou Shiba

Anteiku

Ignoring the rest of the cards, I zeroed in on the two characters I pulled Juuzou Suzuya and Ryoujirou Shiba. Both human. Not that I'm complaining I'm definitely not ready for cannibalism just yet. And, honestly, both of them are solid pulls.

Juuzou's a wild card, someone who can fight ghouls head-on without hesitation. Sure, he's no Kaneki in terms of sheer power, but he's more than enough to give me the combat edge I need. At least I won't be at everyone's mercy anymore.

Ryoujirou's a different kind of win. He's a ghoul specialist, sure, but his knowledge in creating Quinx makes him invaluable. Even outside of ghoul-related stuff, I'm pretty sure his intellect will be handy in general situations.

It seems like the system was feeling generous, too, because it gave me Juuzou's quinque scorpion set, which rounds out the set nicely. With those two, I've got both offense and brains covered.

I glanced at the other rewards and shrugged. "Mask and glasses? Useless. Medal and corpse? Extra useless."

The RC cell suppressor, though? That's got potential. If I end up visiting Tokyo Ghoul's world with that one-month travel card, it might come in handy. Since Tokyo Ghoul's the only unlocked world for now, it's my obvious pick unless the next one's somehow better and less likely to kill me.

Then there's Anteiku, the classic café. Apparently, I can plop it down anywhere and get official papers for it.Not particularly helpful right now, but later, when I've got my summons set up, it could be a solid disguise or base of operations.

Oh, and the novel Kaneki was reading at the start of the series? The one written by Eto? Yeah, I got that too. I'll probably contact a publishing company after doing some minor edits. It'll boost my fame and bank account nothing wrong with that.

Now, the Kakuhou is... interesting. It's the organ that makes ghouls what they are, setting them apart from humans. I don't need it at the moment, but maybe in the future? Who knows, I might even have my own Quinx someday.

Finally, there's the contract card. This little gem lets me make someone my summon if they agree to it, of course. It could come in handy if I meet someone I want to bring back to my world. But they'd have to know what they're signing up for.

All in all? Not a bad haul. Not perfect, but a solid start. Now, the big question what's next?

First thing I did was toss Juuzou into the Assimilation slot. Combat power takes priority right now. Brains can wait. But… yeah, no instant boost or anything. Felt the same as before. A quick check showed the progress bar sitting at a measly 2%. Great, this is gonna take forever.

With nothing else to do, I wandered into the kitchen, grabbed a cola from the fridge, and popped it open. The fizz filled the silence as I leaned against the counter, my thoughts drifting to the trip next week. Oscorp.

"Do I even need to go?" I muttered, taking a swig. I mean, Spider-Man's birth is kind of inevitable, right? Unless some wild curveball gets thrown, Peter's or someone else gonna get bit, powers unlocked, all that jazz. It's not like I need to be there for it.

But still, skipping it felt like I might be passing up something huge. The kind of once in a. lifetime moment that only seems trivial until it's not. Decisions, decisions.
