Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

A few weeks quickly passed and Henry had moved everything he needed to his new residence. He saw Kevin and Michael on several occasions but he quickly got used to it since they now lived together.

On another note, Kevin spoke with Henry concerning the car he requested and they'd decided on everything. Henry wanted more of a functional car than an impressive one. He didn't get anything from having a car that stands out. Even if his car stood out, not everyone is familiar with popular car brands so it wouldn't even matter.

Henry ended up choosing a Toyota RAV4 and Kevin was currently in the process of acquiring it. Henry would only need to show up at the final processes of the transaction to get the necessary paperwork done.

He couldn't help but smile, the speed at which he gained points was a lot better than it was previously. Many articles and news have been published regarding phantma. Youtubers as well have also been promoting Phantma, whether to teach people how to set it up for catfishing on Discord, how to generate images efficiently, or how to make cartoons with it.

What caught many people's attention was that the first hour-long movie made on Phantma was published. Most people stuck to making short videos like 1-10 minutes for TikTok or YouTube. The reason this caused a huge sensation was because it was incredibly time-consuming. Though it was a lot less time-consuming than traditional frame-by-frame animation.

It was still a huge feat making the movie. If it were a mediocre movie, then it wouldn't have gotten this much attention but the storytelling and plot made the movie stand out. Also, in the description of the video, the owner said he was always creative at storytelling and made many novels in the past that were decent. He often thought of making animations but he was terrible at it so he thanked phantma's creators in the description. Touching.

This brought about another question. Who made Phantma? Many people already figured that it was just a partnership between Google and the creator of Phantma since they had already taken the partnership page down. Many journalists and media outlets started pushing out conspiracy theories about Phantma and the owner.

Phantma was a revolutionary AI that achieved what many AIs failed to do. Only a few AIs could make videos and they were either terrible and short or good and short. Either way, they were both too short.

This brought something to Henry's mind. After signing the contract with Google, it wouldn't be hard for them to find his name and some details about him. He sighed in his heart, he probably wouldn't be able to enjoy his peace for long. Actually, he didn't care, so what if people knew? He had a good amount of system points right now and if he were to look for some self-defense-related skills, he would probably find something that could even prevent bullets from injuring him.

Alas, that would have to wait till his identity was revealed. For now, he basks in the glory of success.

Something else he wanted to avoid in the future was purchasing 'Consumable skills'. Skills like universal Compiler and thought visualization synthesizer. He wanted to be able to make it himself in the future. Alas, Points were always the issue.

'Why are mid-tier skills so expensive' He couldn't help but complain in his heart. It cost at least 10,000 points and he'd barely gathered half of that. He had a long way to go.

Something Henry always considered was adding more free and paid features but the ideas just weren't coming. Though he wanted to refrain from getting consumable skills, he might just do it since they were pretty cheap, only in 100s of points.

After a while of thinking, Henry could come up with this. He would create 2 separate plans: Personal and Enterprise. These are separate monthly plans and do not give access to image and video generation features.

For personal plans, it gives access to an AI that could act like a human. A gender could be selected and a random but unique face is given to the AI. It would speak, interact, and act just like a person would.

For the Enterprise plan, it would be the same for personal but this AI is given User-level privileges to the system and could always scan for errors and help maintain servers. This would reduce the maintenance costs overall.

This was his sneaky way of taking E-Dating to new heights. He would also allow the AI to own a phone number so even if the AI is set up on a home server, you could just give it a call or Facetime it on your phone.

These were just excuses, imagine bragging to your friends about your girlfriend and Facetime her just to see a realistic-looking girl. Nothing would even look off about it as it would be near perfect. It was a nice ego boost. Not like, he planned to do such.

It would be introduced as a beta feature and would only last a few months before it's removed. It was mainly to farm points from the system, the personal plan was pretty much of no use.

If anyone saw the ugly, sly, and opportunistic expression on Henry's face, they wouldn't think of getting close to him in their lifetime. Henry quickly regained his composure and started to look less like a madman.

At this moment, a system prompt appeared:
