Chapter 4 - Quest?

"Ugh..." Lillian woke up shortly after with a throbbing headache. Clutching it, she felt a bit different, like something inside her head was less blurry and foggy than before.

Visions of her past identity were soon opened up to her - she had somehow regained her memories.

Lillian shakily got up off the hair before groaning at the sound of the alarm coming from her phone, which she had softly tucked away in her pocket.

"Woohoo! Academy entrance exam day!"

'Huh? Entrance exam?' Lillian listened to the recording of her voice, which acted as her alarm. As she pulled out her phone and checked the time, she saw that it was just 7:30. A sudden realisation passed through her mind.

"I'm going to be late..."

From what she had gained from this body's memories, the academy began at eight. She had approximately thirty minutes to clean up, get dressed, and possibly have breakfast before making her way there.

"I'll just skip breakfast! I gotta get dressed first!"

"This is my uniform? I look quite good in this!"

Her uniform consisted of a black blazer with the academy's symbol embroidered on her left chest, a black cardigan over a white shirt, a dark blue tie, a black skirt and tights.

She gave a little twirl around, earning her a surprising 10 points from the system.

[Host is awarded 10 Theatrical Points due to their Dramatic Flair.]

'Should my actions just be really expressive then?' She tilted her head, which earned her another 3 points from the system.

[Host is awarded 3 Theatrical Points due to their Subtle Flair.]

She summoned her system and saw she had a whopping 24 points in total. A little over the amount needed for a health potion!

'Woah... I guess these aren't really expensive...'

She then looked down at her chest, checking their sizes with a proud smirk on her face. She patted at them and felt them bounce a little, "D-cup... nice... Hehehe..."

After the system notified her of receiving yet another 3 points, she started to get a little bit annoyed by the constant dinging.

"I wonder if there is a way for me to stop it from notifying me all the time... I'm not a big fan of pop-ups appearing every few seconds."

[Do you wish to deactivate Points notifications?]

"If it means what I think it means, then yes, please, System."

After the screen disappeared, she looked towards her points and did what she thought was an exaggerated movement. Seeing no pop-ups appearing, she looked back to her points and saw it hadn't increased. This puzzled her.

"Did that just stop me from gaining it?"

She shrugged and left her room through a white wooden door, "Meh, I'll figure it out on the way to school." She briefly checked the time and her phone before dashing towards the door, "Looks like I won't be having breakfast!" (10)

It was 7:45.

She slipped into her black leather shoes and pushed open her door, leading her into a large living area.

"Oh, right! Lillian was a Noble. As expected for her to be living in such a luxurious apartment complex." She pumped her fist up and down several times. It seems that she will no longer be living in that cheap apartment. (10)

[System has detected the target for the quest related to the Host's survival.]

"Eh...?"

'Target?'

A blue indicator in the form of a triangle later showed up in front of her before moving to the right. Her eyes followed the triangle and found it floating just above a woman with long black hair and deep, beautiful red eyes that could be mistaken for rubies.

Lillian couldn't help but widen her eyes at who it was. The beautiful woman in front of her, who easily trumped her in terms of beauty and... height... was—

"Eh... Marionette Von Roselle...?"

The girl that was standing in front of her, who was raising an eye at her strange behaviour, was the villain of this game! What are the chances!?

Standing at the height of about 5ft11, D-cup chests like her, wearing the same uniform except for the tie being a deep red, smooth, beautiful skin that could leave models jealous, was leaving the room of her apartment.

Marionette stared at her strangely before sighing and moving towards the elevator on this floor. The indicator over her head follows after her.

Lillian saw her move away, along with the indicator, with her mouth gaping as she stared at the system screen she brought up, specifically at the quest in front of her.
