62. Fighting The Mountain Wolf King (1)
At first light Eryndor ventures outside the cave to the spot where he had killed the wolf beast the previous night. The snowstorm had hidden it, the cold preserving it for the purpose it would soon serve to its cruel slayer. Using the bird's eye view he checks the plateau for any sign of the mountain wolf king and as he had expected it was nowhere to be seen, after using Snow to search the surroundings he found it hunting a considerable distance away and Eryndor was to thank for this since his presence had sent the beasts running away.
