52. The Fall
Eryndor felt the rush of cold air as the paws of the mountain wolf king grazed his side leaving a gash on his side. He knew if it had not been for the cover of the snow the hit would have been more direct. A fire of pain burned right through him causing him to cry out in pain, tears well in his eyes against his control.
A huge shadow looked over him causing him to hold his breath, his mind went into a frenzy of thought but his body refused to do a thing and this mistake cost him greatly. The mountain wolf king swung it's tail at him with full force smacking Eryndor on the side where it had cut him. The pain he received doubled into his body paralysing him as he was flung into the air, his ears were interrupted by the rush of cold wind before he impacted the boulder he had been using as cover earlier.
