48. Soul Void

Eryndor was beyond exhausted, he knew staying there was a big risk to his life so he was forced to fight against his fatigue and crawl out of the belly of the disintegrated beast corpse.

Eryndor did not have the focus to scope out his environment this time, he knew he was somewhere different since it appeared the worm was on the move after devouring him. He chose a direction and walked forward, his sword barely staying in his hands, his bow hanging on his back. His bag as well as it's contents were still somewhere on the battlefield, he could not take his chances staying there a moment longer. The dread of being devoured by the ice serpent still caused him to shudder.
