The merging of past, present, and future in a single moment—
fabricating future memories to happen now,
losing an event of tomorrow yesterday.
The contradiction of time and space, the rebellion of the clock's pendulum against time and stillness.
Beautiful things—
beautiful things like her scent lingering on my clothes from yesterday,
like those paper hearts she crafted with her hands,
which I place today in my book.
Like a quirky language we invented to joke,
but it became a part of our daily lives.
Beautiful things like you and me,
months that have passed now in a futuristic way,
like the last kisses from last week that I can still taste.
Beautiful things like old touches whose veins we still feel in any time—
what time am I in, and what time are you in?
Why does everything seem ancient?
Shall we agree on the same day?
I'd even settle for the same minute.
Will what I hear be music? No.
I'm just intoxicated—by what?
By the beauty of dreams where I see you.
Like an innocent child, I hide them under the pillow,
like something old, something from the past.
What I will witness now—what about everything that reminds me of you?
How will I avoid it, or is it already too late?
Lost in so many worlds,
and here I am before you, not knowing what to do—
how to inhabit your world again.
Everything seems beautiful and mysterious,
but I miss more than your body,
and this dark wandering doesn't please me.
