Chapter 21 - Facing the ultimate shadow(2)

• Floor Boss: "Karamous" – An ancient entity emanating a dark aura, said to be one of the first guardians of the tower, bound by ancient magic.

• Rival 1: "Cedric" – A strong, armored knight wielding a massive shield and heavy sword, a natural leader.

• Rival 2: "Ivana" – A cunning fire sorceress known for her intelligence and ferocity in battle.

• Rival 3: "Raoul" – A skilled sniper and strategic analyst who always works from the shadows, preferring to remain unseen.

As Karamous stood in the center of the chamber, radiating his dark power, everyone struggled to catch their breath.

Malik: "Karamous… I can't shake the feeling that he's stronger than any boss we've faced before."

Cedric (angrily): "Then let's see who's stronger! Let's finish this quickly."

Ivana (coldly): "Rushing in isn't an option here. If we don't think smart, we'll all die."

Raoul (deep in thought): "Karamous doesn't just rely on strength. Look at his repeated movements… He's fiercely guarding the center. Perhaps his power is directly tied to that symbol there."

Kinta (sarcastically): "Great, another puzzle to solve while we die."

Waleed (joking): "Kinta, maybe you should be the boss's advisor. You've got a knack for complaints."

Kinta: "Sure, as long as it comes with a vacation!"

Malik: "Alright, we need a plan. Cedric and Ivana, you'll engage Karamous directly. Kinta, try to confuse him with your usual antics."

Waleed: "I'll focus on protecting Malik while he works on disabling the symbol. Raoul, can you secure our perimeter?"

Raoul (calmly): "I'll do my part. Just don't mess this up, Malik."

Everyone moved according to the plan.

Cedric charged at Karamous with a powerful strike from his sword, but the dark aura absorbed the blow as if it were nothing.

Karamous (mockingly): "Do you think you're a strong knight? I've devoured your kind for ages."

Ivana hurled a massive fireball at him, but it dissipated before reaching him.

Ivana (angrily): "He's shielding himself with ancient magic. We need to find a way to weaken that aura."

Kinta: "Has anyone tried annoying him? That sometimes works."

Kinta began hopping around Karamous, trying to distract him.

Karamous (threateningly): "Can't you stop moving?!"

Kinta (sarcastically): "Why? Feeling dizzy?"

While the others engaged Karamous, Malik and the mysterious man worked on deciphering the symbol.

Mysterious Man: "The inscriptions on the symbol suggest it feeds on darkness. If we disable it, his aura will weaken."

Malik: "But how? We're running out of time!"

Waleed shot lightning arrows at the points surrounding the symbol, but an invisible barrier blocked them.

Waleed: "The symbol is well protected. We need more power."

Malik: "Mysterious man, is there any way to bypass the barrier?"

Mysterious Man (deep in thought): "Perhaps if we redirect a portion of Karamous's energy against the barrier…"

Cedric (angrily): "We're wasting time! If you don't have a plan soon, I'll charge at the symbol myself!"

Raoul (sarcastically): "What a brilliant idea. You'll die before you reach it."

Kinta (laughing): "Let him try. Maybe he'll show us how not to die."

After several attempts, the group managed to create a small crack in the aura surrounding Karamous.

Karamous (furiously): "You think you can defeat me? This tower will never let you pass!"

Malik (determined): "This tower hasn't met us yet."

The chapter ends on a pivotal moment: everyone preparing for a final attack while tensions rise between allies and rivals.

"As darkness enveloped Karamos and tightened its grip on the chamber, the very ground trembled beneath everyone's feet, as if the tower itself were watching and reacting to the battle.

Karamos roared, "No one dares defy the tower's will! My power here is absolute!"

Malik challenged, "True will is not found in darkness, but in those who refuse to yield to it!"

Karamos lunged at Cedric with a sudden blow, wielding a dark, massive axe-like weapon. Cedric parried the strike, but the force of the impact sent him reeling backward.

Cedric growled, "I've fought creatures far greater than you, and you'll be no exception!"

Kinta scoffed, "Judging by your state, I think you were a mere snack for some of those creatures!"

As everyone was engaged in the battle with Karamos, Malik and Walid began to strategize.

Malik: "Karamos is powerful, but he relies on the surrounding darkness. If we remove that aura, we'll weaken him."

Walid: "Good idea, but how? That aura swallows everything."

The mysterious man interjected, "The aura isn't impenetrable. If you focus your attack on one point for a long enough time, it will collapse."

Malik: "But that means we need to distract Karamos long enough. Who can do that?"

Kinta boasted, "Me. I'll make him hate every moment of my existence."

As Kinta drew Karamos's attention with his quick movements and constant taunts, the others began to focus their attacks on the aura's weak point.

Kinta shouted, "Karamos, is this the best you've got? Even a child could face you!"

Karamos roared angrily, "I'll make you regret being born, you fool!"

Karamos lunged at Kinta, trying to grab him, but Kinta was quick enough to dodge his attacks.

Kinta joked, "Did I upset you? Don't worry, there's more where that came from!"

Meanwhile, Walid fired a precise paper arrow towards the aura.

Walid called out, "Malik, now! Strike that point with all your might!"

As the team worked together, Cedric, Ivana, and Raoul began to intervene.

Ivana said sternly, "If you want any chance of survival, let's coordinate our attacks."

Raoul scoffed, "I didn't know we were a team, but I'll play along."

Cedric stated firmly, "I'll take the front. Ivana, cover me with your fire, and Raoul, make sure the aura doesn't regenerate."

Everyone began a simultaneous attack, increasing the pressure on Karamos.

As the attacks intensified, the aura surrounding Karamos began to crack.

Karamos roared, "No! This is impossible! My power is eternal!"

Malik insisted, "True power lies not in darkness, but in the light we nurture within ourselves!"

In a decisive moment, Malik struck directly at the core of the aura with his sword, causing a powerful explosion of light.

As the aura faded, Karamos was revealed in his true form: a weak entity, but full of malice.

Karamos croaked, "You don't understand... the tower won't let you pass. There are greater secrets than you can imagine."

Malik replied, "We will discover those secrets, whether you like it or not."

Before he could finish, Karamos vanished in a swirl of darkness, leaving behind a small jewel.

The mysterious man said, "This is not the end. The tower is testing us, and the jewel might be the key to the next level."
