Chapter 4 - The Legacy of Sacrifice and Rigorous Training

The Final Night

The sky was pitch black that night, and the rain poured heavily as if the world was mourning with the mother. Creatures attacked the village, and screams echoed from all sides.

The mother held Malik and Waleed tightly by their hands. "Listen, you two are the most precious thing I have in this world. No matter what happens, remember that I love you."

"Mother! Don't leave us!" Malik cried, his eyes brimming with tears, while Waleed clung to her hand tightly.

"I have to stop them. Someone will take you to safety," she said, pointing to a mysterious man standing in the shadows. The doctor held his staff, his eyes gleaming with wisdom and power.

"I promise to protect them," the doctor said calmly, though his tone carried a deep sadness.

With one final glance, the mother rushed toward the monsters, unleashing a strange power she had always hidden from her children. A surge of immense energy exploded around her, lighting up the area and halting the creatures momentarily.

"Run!" the mother shouted, granting them the time they needed to escape.

The doctor took Malik and Waleed to his cabin far from the village. The first few days were filled with grief and unanswered questions.

"Why didn't you help her?!" Malik screamed at the doctor one night, tears streaming down his face.

The doctor looked at him with sorrow and said, "She gave her life to give you a chance. Now, you must be strong for her."

He gradually began training them, not just in combat but also in wisdom and patience.

Five years passed, and the transformation in Malik and Waleed was evident. Malik had grown more mature, calm, and strong, while Waleed retained his wit and humor, yet he was no less skilled than Malik.

"Today, we will begin a different kind of training," the doctor said as they stood in the forest.

The training included mastering magic, advanced combat strategies, and facing impossible situations. The doctor wasn't just an ordinary mentor; his knowledge of ancient lore and legends made him a true treasure.

"Do you think this is enough to stop the darkness?" Malik asked, trying to restrain his ambition to reach a higher level.

The doctor smiled and said, "Strength lies not just in skill, but in the heart. Never forget that."

The First Mission

After years of training, the doctor gave them their first real mission. A small village had requested help after its inhabitants began disappearing one by one.

"This is no ordinary village. You may find something there that connects to your past," the doctor said, handing them a map.

"Our past? What do you mean?" Waleed asked.

But the doctor smiled mysteriously and didn't answer.

Malik and Waleed arrived at the village and found that darkness had engulfed it. This time, the creatures they faced were stronger and more cunning.

"Remember what I taught you," the doctor said as he later joined them as a powerful ally.

The battle wasn't easy. The doctor unleashed a dazzling magical force, while Malik and Waleed showcased their hard-earned skills.

After the battle, they discovered a symbol belonging to their mother carved into an ancient stone in the village.

"This means she knew something about this darkness before it came," Malik said, his face filled with astonishment.

"There are still many secrets you have yet to uncover," the doctor said. "But always remember, her legacy isn't just in her strength but in her faith in you."
