Seito Shouichi's journey has been a brutal one, and this volume marks one of the greatest tragedies in his story. But this wasn't just by chance — it didn't just happen. Everything unfolded for a reason.
And soon, those reasons will unravel before us as readers.
The emotions in this volume were grim and impactful. Despite doing everything right, Shouichi still failed to save the one he loved. This wasn't due to a flaw in his character, nor was he incompetent — the adversities he faced were simply overwhelming.
If you felt sorrow while reading, then I've succeeded in delivering those emotions. If not, you've got one strong heart!
Kurohashi Town has relentlessly chipped away at Shouichi's mental and physical resilience, and it won't stop until the root cause is finally confronted. The only hint I'll leave you with is in the epilogue!
Now, on to the romance — Akiyama Suzuki played an incredible role in this volume, officially becoming Shouichi's second love interest. She has been a catalyst for his growth since Volumes 1 and 2, standing by him through thick and thin — saving his ass more than once, to say the least. So yeah, she's definitely the GOAT!
Lastly, I sincerely apologize for any drop in quality, typos, or mistakes you may have noticed. This isn't an excuse, but I was also working on another series and participating in Writatron/sprints, which impacted my ability to fully edit this piece.
