CRACK! CRACK!
Space was said to be devoid of any sound,however a scene that would make any scientist grab their hair in disbelief was occurring.
Space was shattering like glass!
If scientists back on Earth saw this,they would probably go crazy from excitement! This wasn't just an earth shattering discovery,rather it was a space shattering one!
From the cracks came an heptagonal object that looked like a space rock.
Even though the object looked like a random piece of space rock at first glance,a closer observation would reveal some features normally found only on an artificial
,manmade construct .
However,the object bore no resemblance to the asthetic taste common to human technology at all.With a 3-dimensional,heptagonal shaped body,it looked like an otherworldly spacecraft,just like something that popped out of an alien movie .
Furthermore,there was no human created spacecraft that left the solar system on a voyage at any time in the past , therefore the origin of this unidentified spacecraft was definitely a mystery.
With a burst of light,the spacecraft warped again,this time reappearing next to the asteroid region between Mars and Jupiter. It emmited a strange wave undetectable to the human eye that actually caused the rocks to gravitate towards it causing them to stick to it.
Now it looked just like any other asteroid!
With the full encapsulation of the weird spacecraft in space rocks it continued it's journey, accelerating unhindered by the added weight.
Judging from it's trajectory it's destination seemed to be... Earth!
With the mysterious vibe the spacecraft was radiating,coupled with the measures it took to make itself inconspicuous,there seemed to be something ominous about to occur to Earth,and as if to confirm that ,a mechanical voice resounded in the void speaking in a language that had never been recorded on Earth.
However, if translated into human language it went as follows : " Approaching planet M2556,invasive procedures initiated,starting atmospheric detonation of the Xenophages....,atmospheric detonation failed,initiating airdrop protocol….,airdrop protocol successfully initiated, estimated touchdown in the next thirty minutes .
With all its protocols affirmed,the weird spacecraft continued it's journey towards towards the unsuspecting planet.
It was without any doubt that in the next thirty minutes,this blue sphere humans called home was going to experience something…. cataclysmic.

"So when she told me she wasn't interested I was totally shocked,like frozen stiff,..."
On a cliff bordering an abyss a weird scene was taking place. A young man who seemed to be at most nineteen could be seen sitting by the cliff edge his legs waving at the abyss below while talking to a bunch of piled up rocks.
With a physique that could make hard working athletes doubt their existence,a face that seemed even better than Adonis's somehow,a mass of coconut brown hair and a pair of black irises that seemed to mysteriously absorb light,any passerby would surely take a second glance at him.
In a way he was a pretty boy.
It was just that this pretty boy was currently drinking while staring at the sprawling city on the opposite side of the cliff with a melancholic aura similar to someone tired of life radiating off him. Coupled with his conversation with stones you might take him for a crazy.
But he was not a crazy! Infact he was a badass genius,your typical geek. He was totally sane!
His name was Ryan Renfield and he was currently in the throes of heartbreak.
Sigh…the agony of youth.
Dring!

Dring! Dring!Dring!
The ringing phone seemed especially jarring when compared to the silence enveloping the cliff. Annoyed he grabbed it before looking at the caller. Without bothering to answer he muted it. However the caller was persistent which annoyed him causing him to dump it down the cliff.
"Fuck it!" He cursed angrily.
Looking at the pile of stones he continued his story.
"So you see Rocky…err where was I?…..yeah the break up part. So after Maya broke up with me,Mark,that guy I told you that he's a rich SOB actually came out of nowhere and grabbed her waist. It was there that I realized that I had been cuckolded. I was really angry at them but there was nothing I could do so…..I just left and here I am,do you think am a loser?"
Rocky:"..."
Looking at the inanimate rock,he couldn't help but roll his eyes feeling that it was pretty dumb. However he felt like venting out to someone and the rock was the next thing he could find so he vented to it.
Anyway it was not that someone would spot him,this part of the campus was rarely visited, far from civilisation.
"I look stupid right,Rocky?"
Rocky:"....."
" Aarrgh,dang it,this is stupid. Why the hell am I talking to a rock!"
Ryan couldn't help but rub his brows out of exasperation.
He had initially planned to commit suicide by jumping down the cliff the distance had scared him shitless.
However,he felt empty and sick of everything and the thought of jumping off the cliff came back to his mind. Anyway,if he did jump and die,he probably wouldn't feel heartache again right?
Like a stubborn weed this thought took root in his mind and he really felt like it was a great idea. At least he had no one to miss him being an orphan and his girlfriend,sorry ex-girlfriend just left him for another guy.
"One jump to end it all."
Standing at the cliff edge,he looked back at Rocky.
"Don't miss me Rocky,you have a great life to live in the future.Am gonna jump now."
Rocky:"...."
Looking at the abyss down below he couldn't help but gulp,but then the thought that he had nothing to lose strengthened his resolve.
"Goodbye world."
Raising one leg over the edge he was just about to drop when…..
BOOM!!!!!
A world rending explosion tore through the sky causing him to loose his footing.
"Aarrghhhh! Noooooo!"
After a while..
"I haven't fallen?"
Ryan had already closed his eyes thinking that he had fallen into the abyss only to see that he was still at the cliff edge. Surprisingly he was being suspended from the branch of a tree growing out the cliff side.
"Holy moly,that was close. Death is scary I ain't gonna die no more." Wiping the sweat on his face away he thought.
He had just managed to get back on the cliff when he saw the cause of the explosion crashing towards the city. It was a gigantic looking meteorite and judging from it's speed it had definitely broken the sound barrier.
"Holy shit! It's going to explode!"
As a stereotypical geek,his mind couldn't help but predict the outcome of the meteorite's impact. All thoughts about commiting suicide were tossed to the back of his mind as he started to run into the forest backing the cliff.
Life was a precious meant to be treasured!
Unfortunately however,it was too late as in the next moment…
BOOOOOOM!!!
…another worldrending explosion tore through the atmosphere it's shockwave spreading like a donut.The mushroom cloud it generated rose far up into the sky he couldn't even see where it ended!
This was a natural disaster!
He saw the shockwave but couldn't outrun it due to the speed at which it came over and in the next second it's force swept him away. The worst part? The force hurled him towards a huge Oak tree,if he collided with it breaking a few bones would be a nice ending,at worst he would turn into meat paste!
With the stench of death looming around him a bunch of random thoughts ran through his mind.
"Is this how am going to die? I haven't seen the world,I haven't conquered ladies yet. Heck!, I'm just a few points short of reaching legendary rank in CoD and here I am about to die. Curse you Maya and your.. Hun,what's this?"
Suddenly,in the midst of his mental rant,a black screen with golden striations popped up in front of his eyes.
[Receiving host blood samples…samples received,Gene lock matches.. initiating host bonding..bonding complete. Welcome to the Black Gear system!]
"What in the name of.."
BANG!
He wasn't able to complete his speech as he made contact with the tree and let's just say...have you ever seen a squashed tomato?
