Chapter 9 - 8 ~ Different Interest

The four girls walked towards Mr. Qi, their hearts racing with excitement and curiosity. As they approached, they saw a group of eight individuals standing behind him, each with a unique aura and presence.

Mr. Qi smiled and began the introduction. "Girls, I'd like you to meet the eight masters of the Hidden Temple. Each of them specializes in a different skill, and they'll be guiding you in choosing your path."

The eight masters bowed slightly, their eyes scanning the four girls. Mr. Qi continued, "From left to right, we have Master Wong, Master Li, Master Chen, Master Kaito, Master Akane, Master Zara, Master Jian, and Master Mei."

Each master nodded as their name was called, their faces expressionless but their eyes gleaming with interest.

Mr. Qi concluded, "Now, girls, it's time for you to choose your skill. Each master will demonstrate their expertise, and you'll decide which path resonates with you the most."

The four girls exchanged excited glances, eager to begin their journey. With a nod from Mr. Qi, the eight masters began their demonstrations.

Master Wong demonstrated his expertise in ancient sword fighting, his movements swift and deadly. Master Li showed off her skills in hand-to-hand combat, taking down an opponent with ease. Master Chen demonstrated his mastery of the staff, spinning and twirling with incredible agility.

Master Kaito, on the other hand, sat down at a computer terminal and began typing away at incredible speed. The screens behind him lit up with lines of code, and the girls watched in awe as he hacked into a secure system with ease.

Master Akane walked over to a nearby workstation, where various medical equipment and tools were laid out. She expertly dissected a fake body, showing off her knowledge of human anatomy and surgical skills.

Master Zara, meanwhile, walked over to a hidden panel in the wall, which slid open to reveal a collection of deadly poisons and hidden weapons. She expertly handled each one, demonstrating her knowledge of toxicology and stealth.

Finally, Master Jian and Master Mei walked over to a quiet corner of the room, where they began meditating. The air around them seemed to shimmer and glow, and the girls could feel a strange energy emanating from them.

"This is Qi training," Mr. Qi explained, his voice low and reverent. "The art of harnessing and controlling one's internal energy. It's a powerful and ancient discipline, one that requires great focus and dedication. With that, you'll group into two and learn the Qi cultivation from the two masters in pairs"

The four girls watched, mesmerized, as the eight masters finished their demonstrations. They had never seen anything like this before.

Finally, Mr. Qi spoke up, his voice firm. "Now, girls, it's time for you to choose your skill. Which master would you like to train with?"

Luna spoke up first, her voice firm. "I choose Master Wong and Master Li. Can they both teach me?" she said, her eyes locked on the master who had demonstrated ancient sword fighting And the other who had demonstrated close combat skills.

" Hahaha, You could chose both at a glance, that's excellent. Yes they can both teach you" Mr Qi said after he noticed the Masters fascinated in approval by her choice.

Lexi nodded, her eyes shining with determination. "I choose Master Chen" she said, her voice firm.

" If I may ask, why did you choose Master Chen, Lexi?"

" I want to learn how to use the staff, I mean I can get sticks from every where and most importantly, I'll learn some other parts too" she said with a careful excitement and even though Mr Qi knew that she may have another reason, he didn't pry before turning his head to Ari.

Ari hesitated for a moment, her eyes scanning the eight masters. Then, with a quiet confidence, she spoke up. "I choose Master Akane and Master Zara" she said, her eyes locked on the masters who had demonstrated their different medical skills.

Chloe looked around, her eyes wide with wonder. Then, with a mischievous grin, she spoke up. "I choose Master kaito" she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Mr. Qi smiled, his eyes warm. "Excellent choices, girls. Now, let's begin your training. You'll be working closely with your chosen masters, and I'll be keeping a close eye on your progress."

The four girls nodded, their hearts racing with excitement. They knew that they were in for an adventure unlike anything they had ever experienced before.

As the four girls walked away with their chosen masters, Luna turned back to Mr. Qi with a curious expression. "Master Qi, what did you mean by 'I found her'?" she asked, her voice low.

Mr. Qi's expression turned serious, and he glanced around cautiously before responding in a hushed tone. "That's a story for another time, Luna. For now, let's just say that you girls are in for a lot more than you bargained for."

Luna's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with questions. But before she could ask anything else, Master Wong called out to her, and she turned to follow him, her heart pounding with excitement and anticipation.

Master Wong led Luna to a large training hall, where various swords and training equipment were laid out. "Today, we'll start with the basics," he said, his eyes gleaming with intensity. "We'll work on your stance, your grip, and your technique."

Little Luna nodded eagerly, her hands trembling with excitement as she picked up a sword. Master Wong watched her closely, correcting her stance and her grip. "Remember, the sword is an extension of yourself," he said, his voice firm. "You must become one with it."

As the training session progressed, Luna found herself becoming more and more focused. She forgot about her surroundings, forgot about her friends, and forgot about everything except the sword in her hand.

Meanwhile, Chloe was working with Master Kaito in a state-of-the-art computer lab. "Today, we'll start with basic coding," Master Kaito said, his fingers flying across the keyboard. "We'll work on your programming skills, and then we'll move on to more advanced topics."

Chloe nodded eagerly, her eyes wide with wonder as she watched Master Kaito work. She had never seen anyone type so fast, or write code with such ease.

As the training session progressed, Chloe found herself becoming more and more confident. She started to understand the code, started to see the patterns and the logic behind it.

Ari, on the other hand, was working with Master Akane in a fully equipped medical lab. "Today, we'll start with basic first aid," Master Akane said, her hands moving swiftly and precisely as she demonstrated various medical techniques. "We'll work on your knowledge of human anatomy, and then we'll move on to more advanced topics."

Ari nodded eagerly, her eyes wide with wonder as she watched Master Akane work. She had never seen anyone with such a steady hand, or such a deep understanding of the human body.

As the training session progressed, Ari found herself becoming more and more focused. She started to see the connections between different body parts, started to understand the complex systems that kept the human body alive.

Finally, Lexi was working with Master Chen in a hidden training room deep beneath the temple. "Today, we'll start with basic stealth techniques," Master Zara said, her voice low and mysterious. "We'll work on your agility, your reflexes, and your ability to remain hidden."

Lexi nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she watched Master Zara move through the shadows. She had never seen anyone so silent, so invisible.

As the training session progressed, Lexi found herself becoming more and more confident. She started to see the world in a different way, started to notice the hidden patterns and the secret paths that only a few could see but that wasn't actually where her interest laid.
