The sun shone brightly over the Thousand Sunny as the crew enjoyed a calm day at sea. Kikidori was lounging on the deck, absentmindedly fiddling with his sword while Usopp tinkered with his slingshot nearby. It was a rare peaceful moment—until Kikidori decided to break the silence.
"Hey, Pinocchio," Kikidori said, a smirk tugging at his lips.
Usopp froze mid-tinker, his eye twitching. "What did you just call me?"
Kikidori leaned back lazily, resting his hands behind his head. "You heard me, long nose. Pinocchio."
Usopp shot up to his feet, pointing a wrench at Kikidori. "Oh, you think you're so funny, huh? At least I don't look like a snake crawled out of bed and forgot to leave!"
Kikidori chuckled. "That the best you got, Dumby?"
"Oh, you want more, Snakey Boi?"
The two glared at each other, their faces inches apart, until Usopp burst out, "Stupid!"
"Stupid yourself!" Kikidori fired back.
Their bickering grew louder and louder, catching the attention of the rest of the crew. Nami, who was trying to enjoy her orange juice and a book, clenched her fists as a vein popped on her forehead.
"Can you two *shut up* for five minutes?!" she yelled, standing up and marching toward them.
Neither Kikidori nor Usopp seemed to hear her as their argument devolved into a childish back-and-forth of "stupid!" "no, YOU'RE stupid!"
That was the final straw.
*WHAM!*
Nami's fists came down like divine judgment, slamming both Kikidori and Usopp squarely on their heads. The force was enough to send them sprawling onto the deck, stars spinning above their heads.
"Idiots," Nami muttered, brushing her hands off as she returned to her seat.
A couple of minutes later, Kikidori and Usopp were sitting side by side, both nursing giant bumps on their heads. They sat in awkward silence, the tension of their argument now completely gone.
"Sorry, Nami…" they mumbled in unison, their voices meek.
The rest of the crew tried—and failed—to suppress their laughter. Even Zoro smirked from his spot near the mast. Luffy, of course, was rolling on the deck, clutching his stomach.
"Pinocchio and Snakey Boi, best duo ever!" Luffy howled.
"Shut up, Luffy!" Kikidori and Usopp snapped in perfect synchronization.
Their outburst sent Luffy into another fit of laughter, and despite the pain, even Kikidori and Usopp couldn't help but crack a small smile. The bumps would heal, but the memory of their ridiculous spat would live on forever.
