In a distant past, there once lived a king, revered and praised by all.
His power stretched from the heavens to the earth: even the stones sang odes to his glory, and his majesty made the world tremble. The King of the Harem was his title, but history preserved neither his name nor his origins.
It was said that he was born without a father or a mother.
The King of the Harem was a mystery, even in his own time.
But the most shocking thing about the King of the Harem was his end.
At a time when the era of gods was reaching its peak, monsters emerged from the bowels of the earth: the Manas.
A hero rose among men and embarked on a quest to rid the world of this corruption.
He possessed a unique ability that allowed him to rapidly increase the power of the women in his team.
His goal was to assemble the strongest team in order to defeat the King of the Manas, known as The End.
This was essentially the synopsis of the open-source game Call of Waifu: explore the world, build the most powerful team, and defeat The End.
However, the greatest difficulty lay in the fact that the most powerful characters were tied to the King of the Harem.
As a result, it was nearly impossible to gain enough affinity to take his women or concubines from him.
This game was considered impossible to complete—or so thought all the players.
But the hero, whose body had been possessed by an individual calling himself "Player," eventually convinced the King of the Harem to join him in his fight against The End.
No one knows what became of the King of the Harem.
A thousand years later, the King of the Harem returned with the title of "Player," determined to reclaim everything he had lost.
