Having completed this, Adele didn't stop but continued to consume all the spiritual power that remained. As per her calculations, it pushed her fully onto the peak of the third stage and she's nearly ready to advance to the fourth stage.
Although it was a bit rushed, she didn't really mind. She didn't know the situation outside, but one thing was for sure, after ten thousand years, people should've stabilised their power long ago, some might even have broken through the upper stage. After all, she was sure to succeed in this after ten thousand years, why wouldn't others?
They might have less timespan, but after all, this wasn't the only thing that was great. Who knew what kind of chances they got? She only knew that although she was strong now, she might be very weak the moment she went out.
So in the next moment, she stopped herself from recklessly deciding on a different ritual than she decided already.
There was a lot of space in the necklace, apparently it also worked as a storage space, an extremely good one. Then she went in deeper and explored the lands she had fully ignored up to this point, though a general idea of everything was in her mind already.
It only took a few seconds of walking, she seemed to teleport as she did inside, it took longer because she wasn't sure of the exact position. But when she landed, she saw it in front of her: a huge glassy botanical house where she could plant plants. When she went inside, she even saw many common items from the spiritual world, as well as other extremely rare ones.
There was even one plant that stood out from all the others, it was in the middle of the botanical garden – an extremely small plant with a shining gem like fruit hanging down. Although it looked tempting, Adele quickly left the scene. This botanic garden was the actual recipient of the spiritual power, which was why she said that it was a mutation when she was able to absorb spiritual power that was very strongly attuned to herself.
She had a vague idea of what these rare plants were, but didn't look at them longer. After all, the temptation to waste them was large, especially after they grew for so long. The botanic garden was managed by formations placed all around, a semi-permanent type of ritual, so all the plants grew well and none went over and encroached on the territory of another.
Even among the common plants, some had mutated while others simply became stronger and purer. Regardless, most of them weren't usable for now. After all, the time witches might want to sponsor a lot, but they didn't want to grow a flower in the green house… well they did, but their inheritor wasn't supposed to be one.
So naturally, what they grew might be common plants, but barely any of them are ones that help with cultivation. At least the early stages are supposed to be fully climbed by the inheritor… it cane be said that this step was skipped, but regardless, they aren't of much help to the current Adele.
She just thought that the time witches must've spent a lot of resources to create this artifact that worked to well, it'd be a shame if they didn't receive anything in return. She also knew full well that she'd have to repay everything she received – even the ten thousand years of seclusion.
Just thinking of this caused a few headaches for her – resources might be important for others, and this necklace truly costed a lot, but time witches lived so long, naturally they had a lot of wealth. They must have had other intentions when they created this inheritance. Obviously world domination and gifting it to them was impossible, regardless, inheritors aren't slaves.
At least not for the witches. One thing was for sure, Adele would need to work hard to fulfil their requests. Though she wasn't too averse to this idea. If the Coven of Witches was like it was described, then she was willing to join it fully with her heart. She thought that the idea of having a group of people similar to her sounded very enjoyable. Although she wasn't naïve, there was a reason why she was so compatible with the artifact and the inheritance.
Then, she left the botanic garden temporarily. She only gave it a last look to count the empty space. Although most of the space was littered with plants, there was a bit of empty space in the corner for the inheritor to practice and grow their own things. The area would become much larger after removing the common plants, but that would have to wait for now.
Next, small teleportations happened again and Adele landed in front of a huge library. She entered and saw countless books all around. These books were the foundation upon which the necklace's encyclopaedia worked.
Naturally Adele wouldn't be able to read them all, but she quickly saw a shelf on the side. Approximately hundred books were on the shelf, so it was rather large, but not too large. She knew from the introductory knowledge that this was the basic knowledge she should learn. Since so many years passed, all of this should've already been figured out, but it wouldn't hurt to learn this before she reincarnated again.
And it is indeed so, many books were even too old for the current things that happened outside the necklace, but old knowledge wouldn't be thrown away, it would be called history and in the end at most become more specific knowledge, but the future basics would be based on this.
Having a strong foundation was the key in studying. It might've been a long time since Adele studied theoretically, but she could still remember that it was just half a year ago when she completed her master. She knew very well the principles of studying and took five books out of the shelf, went to a table on the side, and sat down.
Paper and ink were already on the table, what confused Adele was that the quill she expected was instead a fountain pen… she was confused, but there was a 'History of the Spiritual World' book among the many books, so she took it and read it. Thankfully she had trained in writing with a feather tip pen before, it was actually in elementary school… so she had to train it again, but at least it wasn't an unknown motion.
