That whole day she spent on introducing herself to her employees and getting to know them as well and discussed about the company's future plans, signing up documents and papers here and there etc,etc.
She was quickly appreciated probably, because all the employees were dictated by her uncles for so long they found themselves at ease with this easygoing and cheerful new CEO.
[ But was she really easygoing and cheerful ??? ]
(Not really, she was just putting up the act of a nice CEO because she knew how important even a tiny stone can be to build up a whole empire.)
When she returned home that evening, she was EXHAUSTED. All day of paperworks and social interactions tired the introverted side of her to the bone.
Her car entered the mansion gate and the old butler greeted her by the door. He looked at her on her face once and bow down his head again and said " they are here."
Her face that already looked weary, darken even more.
" F•••k, I don't wanna deal with this right now. " She said with irritation on her voice.
No matter what, she had no choice as she had to enter the house and so she did and slowly entered the living room. Inside the room were three people sitting on the sofa looking all superior and with arrogance aura surrounding them.
When she saw them, she thought " Wow !!! My uncles are such a speed, when they know using their stupid tactics on me was like talking to the wall, utterly useless. They decided to switch methods and called my 'dear' father and my step family to pursuade me.
And my father came so quickly. Talk about speed, huh!!!"
When her father and her step family saw her coming through the door they were speechless.
If her father hadn't seen her face without her bangs before, he himself wouldn't be able to recognise her.
When her father came to his senses, he started scolding her immediately. Calling her good-for-nothing, useless, trash stuff like that.
She silently kept on listening realising that his words once used to hurt her like hell but now, She doesn't even care because she now knows SHE IS THE BOSS OF THE HOUSE WHICH MEANS SHE MAKES RULES HERE AND THERE'S NO PLACE FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T FOLLOW HER RULES.
Amidst her father's scolding she glared at him and proudly and loudly said " HOW DARE SOMEONE LIKE YOU RAISE YOUR VOICE AT THE MASTER OF THE HOUSE ?? "
He was caught off guard, he didn't expect a meek and quiet girl like her would raise her voice at him. This never happened before. They did told him that she has changed quite a lot but didn't expected her to change this much to the point she would be almost unrecognisable and so daring.
" How dare you call yourself the master of the house ?" He raised his hand to slap her but she stopped him midway by grabbing his raised hand. He tried to shake it off but he couldn't as she was using Iggy's strength on him.
She swing away his hand and quickly grabbed him by his neck and raise him up a little from the ground red flashing in her eyes.
Everyone looked at them in shock as he struggled to breathe.
His wife Estelle was the first one to react and tried to push her away to bring her husband down but didn't manage to move her a single bit as if she's made up of steel.
She turned her head to look at the woman who just tried to push her, crimson red still glowing in her eyes. That woman started panicking realising she garnered the attention of this manic.
She threw the man on the ground and raised her hand to attack her then suddenly she heard " M'lady"
The old butler screamed from top of his lungs.
She blinked once then twice and finally came back to her senses.
" What happened just now ? What was I doing ? " She looked around confused. Everybody were staring at her in fear.
