Chapter 1 - Prologue

The clear sky and fresh air spoke of the world's beauty. On a steep cliff, two stone faces were carved, and beneath them lay a beautiful village, surrounded by vast forests. Perhaps it was the early morning hour, but everything felt unusually peaceful. Not far from the village, by the lakeside, a young boy stood, listening intently to his father's teachings. This boy, the protagonist, was none other than the traverser from another world—Hong Hao, now known as Uchiha Akira.

The boy gazed at his father, who was speaking endlessly about the knowledge of ninjas, but his thoughts had long since drifted elsewhere.

In his mind, he reflected on his original world, Earth, with mixed emotions. Born an orphan, he had always kept his distance from familial bonds. He had never sought out his relatives nor spoken of them. Perhaps it was due to his introverted nature, or maybe because of his sense of inferiority. During his childhood, Hong Hao had no friends. The orphanage was a tragic place, a place of sorrow where children abandoned by their parents were left behind. Even if there were friends or teachers who showed care, it was never familial love—it was merely sympathy. Hong Hao rejected sympathy.

In the 1980s, at the age of sixteen, he left the orphanage and found a dishwashing job in the city. Perhaps the boss had taken pity on him and gave him a chance. Over the years, Hong Hao worked hard and was diligent. Eventually, his efforts were recognized by the boss, and he slowly rose in his position. By the 1990s, he had gained enough experience to open his own restaurant, and by the early 2000s, he had managed to establish a successful business.

Love was everywhere, yet it had never graced Hong Hao's life. He remained single, and so it continued, until a severe illness struck him in 2005. Death came knocking at his door. On his sickbed, Hong Hao finally shed tears, the first in thirty years, in front of the old director of the orphanage (and don't ask why the director lived so long). He left behind his inheritance to the orphanage, hoping that the children there would live happily and joyfully.
