Chapter 1 - Something Like a Fantasy Happened to Me

When I opened my eyes, the world I knew was gone.

The room around me was vast and dimly lit, with an air so heavy it felt alive. Strange symbols glowed faintly on the black stone walls, pulsing in rhythm with my racing heartbeat. At the center of it all, seated on a throne that seemed carved from obsidian, was a woman unlike any I'd ever seen.

Her presence demanded attention—no, worship.

Where am I? He thought, his head spinning.

Then, another thought slipped in, unbidden: Who cares where I am… if this is my home, she's probably my wife.

What the heck is wrong with me? I scolded myself. My stupid brain must have fried on the way here.

But if I had to describe her in one word, it would be "perfection." She was, without question, the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. Yet, even in my dazed state, a part of me knew one truth would never change—my mom would always be the most beautiful woman to me. Every child knows that.

The woman sat cross-legged on the throne, her posture regal yet relaxed. She wore a black vest and denim shorts that revealed long, slender legs that seemed to shimmer under the eerie light. I knew it was wrong to stare, but my eyes betrayed me, tracing the curve of her figure as if I were under some spell.

Hottyyy...

The word slipped out before I could stop it.

Her gaze shifted to me. Sharp, unrelenting, and impossibly piercing. A small smile played on her lips, the kind that could make hearts race and knees weak.

"Pervert."

Her voice was smooth, almost teasing, but there was an edge to it that sent a shiver down my spine.

His stomach flipped. "Uh... I—I didn't mean to—"

"Are you done staring?" she asked, crossing her legs with deliberate elegance.

I wanted to sink into the floor, but my traitorous gaze drifted lower—to the soft curve of her belly button, just visible under her shorts. It rose and fell with each measured breath she took, as if keeping time with my spiraling thoughts.

"You've got to be kidding me," I muttered to myself.

Her smirk widened. "Careful, little one. In this place, I can read your thoughts."

Crap.

For the first time, I looked properly at her face. Her long, black hair cascaded down her shoulders like silk, moving faintly as if it were alive. Her features were flawless—high cheekbones, a delicate nose—but it was her eyes that held me. Brown, deep, and endlessly consuming, they seemed to peer into my very soul.

And then, there was her smile. It was pure and childlike, almost at odds with her regal demeanor. For a moment, he forgot to breathe.

Say something, idiot, I thought. Anything.

But when my mouth opened, what came out wasn't what I expected.

"Will... will you marry me?"

The silence that followed was deafening.

She blinked, momentarily stunned. Then her lips curled downward, and the air around her shifted.

"Foolish human!" she snapped, rising from her throne. "Do you even know who I am? How insolent!"

I should've been terrified, but I wasn't. Her power was palpable, like a storm brewing in the air, yet I felt no malice.

"I don't know who you are," I said honestly, "but if you marry me, you'll be my wife. That much I'm sure of."

Did I just say that? What is wrong with me?

Her eyes narrowed. "Wife? How dare you—"

She took a step forward, and the room seemed to tremble. Her hair whipped around her like shadowy tendrils, her eyes blazing with light. I should've run. I should've begged for forgiveness.

Instead, my gaze—once again, against my will—dropped to her belly button.

She noticed.

"You...!" she hissed, covering her stomach with both hands. Her glare could have melted steel.

"Sorry..." I muttered, scratching the back of my head. A nervous laugh escaped me.

For a moment, the tension hung heavy in the air. Then, with a huff, she returned to her throne, crossing her legs once more.

"You're either the bravest or the stupidest human I've ever encountered," she said, her tone calmer now.

"Probably both," I admitted, trying not to look at her belly again.

"Do you even know what you're saying?"

"I do," I replied. "I didn't mean to insult you. I just… wanted to be honest."

"Honest?"

"Yes. I don't know if this is a dream or if I've died and ended up here. But if this is real, and you summoned me, then you probably brought me here for something dangerous, right? So why hide how I feel? If I didn't say something now, I'd regret it for the rest of my life."

Her lips twitched, almost forming a smile.

"This is love at first sight," he added, his voice steady despite the insanity of his words.

"Hah…" She chuckled, a sound that was equal parts amused and exasperated. "You're a strange one."

"Maybe," I admitted. "But I meant every word."

"Are you sure it's love and not lust?" she asked,

I didn't hesitate. "Both. I love you as much as I want to be loved by you. If that's lust, then fine—I'm deeply lustful for you."

Her eyes widened, then narrowed again. "You're surprisingly bold for a human."

"Only because of you," he said honestly.

She studied me for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Then she sighed, shaking her head.

"You're a strange one," she repeated. "But enough of this chitchat. Let's move on to the real reason you're here."

Her hand rose, pointing toward me.
