Chapter 6 - The Overpowered Young Master

Tang Xi rubbed his glabella slightly, oblivious to the commotion his sword intent was causing in the Sword God sect.

His sword intent was so powerful that it could be felt for miles around him but even at that, he had a look of displeasure on his face.

"I can't believe I am only able to activate such weak sword intent…."

He was quite confident that he would be able to dominate this world without being a cultivator if he could use the full might of his sword intent.

Nevertheless, he shrugged.

"It's better to remain low profile. A strong sword intent would only be an attention magnet."

If the Sword God sect had a way of hearing his last words, they would have gone crazy.

What the hell do you mean by low profile…?

Seeing how you just transformed the Bell of intent into a musical instrument, I'm even surprised the word low profile exist in your dictionary….

Heck…, low profile my foot.

Tang xi rummaged through the clothes of the assassin for any clue or hint, regarding the assassin's identity but he found nothing.

Suddenly, his hands struck something metallic within the folds of the assassin's robe.

He found a medallion on the assassin. On its surface, a crescent moon was engraved on it together with something that resembled a two headed demon.

He glanced at the assassin before resting his gaze on the medallion. The medallion emitted such a wicked vibe that for a second, he felt a chill down his spine.

"That is strange…." he thought.

After surviving many perilous encounter and even escaping from the immortal dungeon, he could withstand any wicked intent aimed at him.

Not that the aura from the medallion could gaze him though.

"Who the hell are this guys?"

Without giving it any further thought, he placed the medallion into his backpack and stood up.

His face appeared white with exhaustion and beads of perspiration streamed down his face.

"When last have I felt this tired and weak?"

Now that he is no longer an immortal, he would suffer from mudane things and for that reason, he felt like slumping down.

Hasty footsteps sounded behind him, making him sworl around in panic.

He heaved a sigh of relief on seeing the newcomers. It was three of his guards together with his servant.

"Young master" the servant addressed him while the rest bowed slightly.

Arthur gazed at them, his eyes chilling cold and his face hardenend like steel. He couldn't help but notice the disdain in the eyes of the guards mixed with a tinge of surprise.

Apparently, they were surprised to find out that the young master survived the onslaught of a peak stage Nascent realm assassin.

Tang xi was known as a trash since he lacked the ability to harness Cosmo. Even among the Tang family, a servant seemed to have a greater status than him.

"Why did you return?"

The guards had a look of hesitation on their faces when one of them suddenly spoke out:

"How can we lose our lives for something worthless, something below the level of a trash?"

The servant had a look of shock on his face. He didn't expect the guards to be so bold.

"How dare you?" He appeared genuinely infuriated.

"I didn't mean to abandon you young master" and he felt on his knees.

An insidious grin found its way into Tang Xi's face.

"Hahahaha…." He broke out.

"Some idiots called me a trash…" he chuckled. "...Only I have the right to call myself a trash. As for the rest of you; none of you are worthy."

And he was absolutely right. If someone who had achieved the immortal plane could be deemed a trash, then how would we refer to the rest?

"What are you going to do?" the guards questioned and the might of their early stage Nascent realm cultivation was released.

To their amazement, the pressure which they emanated appeared to have no effect on him. Infact, he seemed not to have noticed it.

"Do you know the one word I hate the most?" Tang Xi's voice turned ominous and dark and the killing intent in them could be felt. He picked up the assassin's sword.

"That word is trash."

His sword intent awakened with unimaginable might as he swung his sword and the three guards were torn into shreds.

The attack had been so swift that their bodies remained standing for tens of seconds before it collapsed into a pile of flesh and a pool of blood.

The servant who was still on his knees had a pool of sweat streaming down his face. Even though the attack was not directed at him, it still felt like his life was hanging on the edge of a thread.

"When did I have such an overpowered young master?"

If this is now considered a trash, then what the heck am I?

"Jian, stand up and take this bag let's go" he handed his backpack over to the servant without sparing him another glance.

To all who despise him, there shall be no mercy.

"Yes young master Tang" hurriedly, the servant took the bag and lead the way and he heaved a sigh of relief for the milestone had been taking of his neck.

An enigmatic light glinted through his eyes as he took the lead however, this didn't escape Tang Xi's notice.

His senses had been honed from innumerable battles that he could sense any malicious intention aimed at him from several kilometers away.

And so, he knew that Jian hed no malicious intentions towards him…at least for the moment.

"What are you going to say happened to the guards?" Jian asked Tang Xi after awhile.

His eyes bored into the distance ahead and his face expressionless as he answered;

"That's your problem. If I hear a word of what happened today, you would see what Lucifer looks like in real life. Besides, no one would believe you."

His voice sounded so unnaturally calm that Jian nearly peeed his pants.

"I will take it to my death."

Even if he said what really happened, no one would believe him.

He even found it unbelievable.

Am I crazy or is the world going crazy?

An hour ago, he was a weakling and now he is absolutely overpowered for a mortal….

Definitely, I'm crazy….
