The world around me lay in ruins, a haunting reminder of what once was, my hand squelched in the thick, dark liquid that stained the cracked pavement—blood, pooling from the fallen, a testament to the chaos that had unfolded. Buildings, once towering symbols of human achievement, now stood as skeletal remains, their shattered windows resembling empty eyes staring into the abyss.
The air was heavy with the stench of decay and despair, mingling with the acrid smoke that still curled from the remnants of pink fires still burning brightly . Strangely everywhere was silent, as i searched for a sign of life in this hellish landscape, searching for any sign of life or hope. Every shadow felt like a threat, and every sound made my heart race. In this world, weakness was the greatest sin.
As I looked down at my chest only to see it peirced by a metal rod and my leg twisted as if ensuring i wouldn't try to walk, i was filled with so much pain that i couldn't think straight as my mind was filled with the death of my parents and the destruction that seems to echo around me. Only the remnants of my humanity and the pain that I was feeling that was judging my presence in this broken reality. I wanted to stay alive i truly did, but the weight of the image of my blood-soaked dead bodies of my parents lingered in my mind, a constant reminder of the fragility of life and the darkness that had consumed us all. Thinking back I thought 'what has led to this.'

Dawn sat at his desk, his bright blue eyes shining with excitement as he listened to his teacher, Mrs. Elara. She was explaining the process of Awakening, the moment when a child's hidden powers were revealed.
Dawn is a young boy with black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.
The classroom was filled with children around Dawn's age, all of them chatting and laughing with each other. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation.
"Remember, class," Mrs. Elara said, "Awakening is a natural process. It's a privilege that only a select few can obtain."
Dawn nodded eagerly, his heart racing with excitement. He had always dreamed of Awakening, of discovering what powers lay hidden within him.
Mrs. Elara stole a quick glance at Dawn's spot before continuing her lesson. When Dawn noticed his mother looking at him, he could only sigh. Having his mother as a teacher was far from enjoyable. Dawn was a rebellious boy who craved everyone's attention, but with his mom in class, he often faced spankings, which led to endless embarrassment. It felt like he was the only one affected by it; no one in his class seemed to care about him at all. It was as if he were invisible to everyone except his parents. Even his own clan paid him little attention.
Dawn was born into a family of superhumans who possessed superhuman strength, speed, agility, resilience, and intelligence. This unique combination allowed them to establish their shelter and create two divisions: those with superhuman strength took to farming, while those with superhuman intelligence focused on teaching. For over fifty years, this arrangement worked well until Dawn was born.
Despite being a prodigy—being the only one in his entire family to possess both superhuman strength and intelligence—no one paid him any attention. It was as if he lack luster and was average in everything he did, and this treatment extended throughout the entire town. This lack of recognition led Dawn to become rebellious at a young age, but his efforts were in vain. The townspeople, unable to afford to scold him, chose to ignore him instead. Within his clan, he was seen as the next patriarch, but his antics were dismissed, with only his parents giving him discipline through an iron rod. It was as if a shroud was covering his life causing people to subconsciously avoid him.
Although people could achieve the same effect after Awakening their soul core and wielding Aether, but in this shelter which lacked the basic training regime the future of those who was contacted by the Soul Dairy was bleak.
Mrs. Elara turned to a boy with back hair and black eye and asked him "what is the name of the energy we harness to fight"
'what are you asking me for its a very simple question' thinking bitterly in his heart Billy stood up to answer "Aether" he grunted out annoyed before sitting down.
Noding Mrs.Elara continued her lecture, she asked him that relatively simple question because he was a trouble maker and she could already see him sending messages to his squad of trouble makers.
"Aether a wonderful thing I wish I will be able to harass it one day and use it to invent things like Mr.Dennis" thinking about it Dawn almost bust in happiness.
Just as Mrs. Elara was about to continue the lesson, a loud explosion rocked the classroom. The windows shattered, and the door burst open.
Stuned everyone looked out the window only to see the sky in the shade of ethereal black and purple resembly night Carrying with it an aura of bad omen.
"Nether!" Mrs. Elara screamed, her voice trembling with fear. "We're under attack!"
The classroom erupted into chaos as the children scrambled to get away from the classroom.Dawn's heart pounded in his chest as he imagined the consequences of nether attacking.
