The day God died the earth shook and the sky turned black.
A hail of brimstone fell from the above and lightening storms ravaged the world.
We had all felt, the stab on the back that had killed God. We felt him break to bits and his remains scattered all over the earth.
Then a voic echoed through the storms it was Cadmus, ones the our god death now our god of life.
And he held us hostage, using our souls as bargaining chips against the Elder gods.
They couldn't touch him, at any moment he could destroy the world, and destroy the balance. He held the earth's core in hands and what he wanted came to be.
So he essentially held the whole world hostage. He demanded daily prays, temples to built in his honour's and children to be slaughtered as sacrifice.
One day under the blood red sky, a younger boy was tending to his sheeps. He had black spiky hair and wore only fur.
In the distance he'd heard the wailing of one of his flock and bark of his Shephard dog.
He quickly ran to them with his spear in hand. When he got there he saw a large wolf almost his height and over twice his size.
He smirks,
It's smaller than the last one,
The wolf lunges for the sheep and the boy immediately jumped in stealing the sheep from its grasp.
The wolf seemed a bit confused, it swung it's claws at him but he throws the sheep away and easily dodge. He gripped his spears and points it directly at wolf.
It's growls
I don't want to hurt you. The boy said
The wolf growls in response.
The wolf jumped at him, he quickly swung the bottom of his spearand the wolf hitting it under the jaws, it's whimpers as it's body hits the floor.
The boys says in a calm voice
Like I said, don't make me hurt.
Thier eyes lock and for a moment thier gaze lingered, the wolf lowers it's head to him the runs away into the murky woods.
He chuckles. I hope he finds something to eat. I can't loose Mr mogs sheep's.
Everything's dying now, we can't be losing sheep's. It cause of this stupid red sky that nothing grows. He sighs
He looks up to the sky in search of the sun but doesn't find it behind the thick red clouds.
The dog barks again
What! Another wolf? He runs off to it
What is tolito, he says runing towards him, the dog was barking at a glowing light in the woods
Whats that! He said.
It wonder what it it?
It's was a golden flash of light, it's stood out so brightly from the darkness.
He quickly ran in, and when he got closer he took cover behind a tree, his dog followed behind him, he peeped from behind the tree
Maybe it's one of those gaint fireflies again. But I haven't seen one this color. Those are yummy, the only downside to eating fireflies is your tummy glows for hours. I don't mind that, cause they're so delicious.
His mouth starts to water as he day dreams about food, the star gave of a wild flash again and the dog barks waking him from the dream.
He peeped out again, then seeing nothings changed, he slowly creeped towards the star, as he got closer he heard strange sounds, he stopped.
Who's there he says. Cautiously looking around.
He continues walking towards the star and he heard more sounds but could not make out who were they were coming from, he got closer enough to the star.
And it's was just that a glowing yellow six point star. Soon more strangers sound filled the air it occurred to him that they were emanating from the star.
And as he reaches to touch, the sounds blended into the most beautiful music he'd ever heard, they drew him in and he grabbed it.
Sparks and lightning shot out of it, he tried to let go but couldn't.
Want happening, thought, panicking.
Then he saw the face of God
He saw too many eye and shining golden face.
what is this
So much flushed through his mind, the inner working of star, the balance of the universe, so much secrets, so much truths and he collapse with the star giving off final flash.
He slumps to the floor unconscious.
After a while. He's felt the dog licking his face. The slobbering wakes him up, he opens his eyes and saw red clouds above, he felt the cold air on his back
What! It's night already. Just how long was I sleeping?
The dog barks.
He quickly got up and ran out the woods and to the open field. He saw the heard of sheep was still there.
He breaths a sigh of relief and then he hears an old voice calling for him.
Oh no it's farmer Mogs, I'm so gonna get it
He quickly run into the cluster of sheep, the old man turns and spots him in the mist of them
I that you Gyo?
Yes sir? he says waving, he's hand. The old man walked over.
My I'd been looking for you all over,its quite late you know.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause you any worry.
So where were you then
I was I the wood
Doing what! he says with a drool, releasing a spray if spit
I was, I was sleep. He bows his head. I'm really sorry sir.
The man gives him a hard knock on his head. Don't miss your cue to come home, I'm shivering out here you know. Lets go gather the sheep. Tomorrow you should get extra rest.
Gyo rubbed his head, trying to soothe the pain.
He turns back and calls the dog
Tolito!
The dogs responds with a bark and runs out of the woods and after them.. They herded the sheep's back home where they rest and call it's night.
The very next day at the behest of farmer Mogs. Gyo took the sheep out herding, I went back out to the wood.
Faint memories of the star lingered in his mind and the sounds too would echo in he's ears at times
What was it he wonder and where is it now
By the evening he had again seen a flash of light in the woods, he quickly chased after it, when he got there he saw a red flashing star.
It drew him in this time, seducing him with sweet music, he grabbed unto in but then he heard a loud growl and the screams of sheep's. He paniced.
He tried to let go off the star but he couldn't, it was glued to his hand. He head felt light and he felt dizz, he slumped over and began to lose consciousness
He hears the barking of Tolito and the cry of his sheep
No I can't fall asleep, farmer Mogs, can't lose any more sheep.
He struggled and fought with his fading consciousness, trying to will his body back into action. He quickly regains control of his legs and lower body.
Soon he gets back his hands and shortly after his entire body. He jump of to his feet and quickly ran off to aid the sheep.
He didn't even noticed he still held onto the star, he jumped out of the woods, and landed on a gaint green frog the size of a small house
What!
It immediately jumps off into the air, Gyo grabs unto his slippery his skin but his grip was very week, he falls off it back and start hurling towaeds the ground.
From fifty feet in the air he could see a Lurker chasing after the sheeps.
No! Get away from them.
He lands on the ground with a thundering crash. It felt like every bonein his body broke.
He spat out blood.
Just how many sheep's did that frog eat and now a lurker! The thought ran across his mind. I should have listened to farmer mogs.
His consciousness fades to black as he dies. Then in midst of blacknes he sees a yellow flashing star and then a red flashing star.
He felt his body lift off the ground, and the lurker looks up, taken away from the sheep carcass it was eating.
He could feel his bones mending, he felt and enormous a mount of energy filling everycell in his body.
The lurker growled at him with wrath, it senses danger in our little hero so it's set out it's claws and pounced at him.
His body emanated an enormous amount of electric discharge driving away the lurker temporarily.
Burning its raggy fur and rotten skin. Sire lands on his feet in disbelief at what had happened.
What happen to me, he wondered. What this star glowing on my chest? I'm I really on fire right? But I feel cold?
The lurker growled at him. Gnashing its rotten teeth at the boy. Gyo gets angry, he felt enormous power in his finger tips, he clenched his fist
I'm sick and tired of you stealing farmer mogs sheep.
The lurker jumped at him, the power concentrated in his bones it felt like they would burst at any moment.
He throws a punch at the lurker in mid air and before the lurker even gets two feet's close to him, it burns to nothing.
Woah. Did I do that, he looked at his hand wonder. He was was on fire with green flames, the fires around him periodically would change color.
Sometimes being a mixture of two or more, the stars on his chest where still glow
The red four pointed star was the larger one and cover most of his chest with the yellow appearing somewhat under it.
He looks around and starts to count the sheep.
