Barry has multiple wires probed into his body, a mask around his mouth which all seem to be connected to a much larger machine and a treadmill.
Barry was asked to run as the team wanted to observe any physical changes in his body, so he is doing just that.
Running is one thing the new Barry knows better than anyone. He had been running for an eternity trying to catch something that was too fast, but he became faster.
Barry's feet are taking long strides as he is running fast on the treadmill. The speed reading that the team is getting is very impressive.
"This is incredible. His running speed is 37 miles per hour. This is significantly faster than humanly possible," Cisco says, surprised by the reading he is getting on his computer.
"His vitals are extremely steady. Blood oxygen level is normal. He isn't even breaking a sweat. His physical condition is beyond perfect, almost..." "Superhuman level," Cisco finishes Caitlin's words with an excited smile on his face.
While they are excited about the readings, Dr. Wells seems to be lost in his thoughts as he stares at Barry.
"That's enough, Mr. Allen," Dr. Wells speaks into a mic which Barry hears through her speakers placed around the room.
Barry stops running as Cisco and Caitlin enter the room and begin helping him remove all the probed wires from his body.
"So how did I do?" Barry asks Cisco.
"Dude, you were awesome. You were running almost as twice as fast as Usain Bolt," Cisco said excitedly. "And your vitals were all extremely steady. If you push yourself, you could run faster," Caitlin says as she unattached a probe from his chest.
They make eye contact for a few seconds without saying a word before Caitlin looks away.
"That's great news then. I am doing fine," Barry says.
"Not just fine, you are doing exceptional. I wonder what else can you do? Should we test his strength and see how much he can lift? If he can run almost as twice as fast as the fastest man, he should be able to lift almost as twice as the strongest," Cisco goes on a tangent as he wants to see what else Barry can accomplish.
"Here." Caitlin hands Barry a t-shirt to cover himself. "Thank you," Barry thanks her and smiles, but she turns away, giving him a cold shoulder.
"What's with her?" Barry asks whispering to Cisco.
"Don't worry, she is a nice person. She will come around once she gets to know you a little better," Cisco whispers back.
"What are you two talking about?" Caitlin turns back and asks, giving them a questioning look.
""Nothing!"" they both say at the same time.
Caitlin finds their behavior confusing but doesn't bother delving deeper. She turns her back and continues with her work.
Barry puts on the t-shirt and makes his way out of the testing room to find Dr. Wells waiting for him in his wheelchair.
"Mr. Allen, you are free to leave, but if you experience anything and I mean anything, please come to us," Dr. Well says.
"Will do," Barry nods at him.

"Barry! Barry!" Barry suddenly hears someone call for him frantically. He turns his head towards the direction of the voice and sees a girl enter the lab.
"Barry!" she says with excitement and genuine happiness as she sees Barry standing on his feet. She rushes towards him and hugs him.
"You are awake, thank god you are awake. Dad and I were so worried," She hugs him tightly.
"I am fine, Iris, I am fine," Barry hugs and rubs her back, calming her down.
She lets go of him and looks at him again to check if he really is okay. "Should you even be on your feet right now?" she asks.
"Iris, I am okay. I have never felt better," Barry says.
"Barry, I watched you die... You kept dying. Your heart kept stopping," Iris says, worried.
"You don't need to worry, Miss West. Mr. Allen here is in perfect health," Dr. Wells says, stepping in for Barry.
Iris looks at Well and grabs his hands. "Thank you so much, thank you so much for helping Barry get better," she thanked him from the bottom of her heart.
"I was responsible for what happened to Barry, so I had to do what I can," Dr. Wells says.
"Dad is going to be so happy when he sees you," Iris says turning back to Barry.
"Where's Joe?" Barry asks. "Dad is stuck at the precinct with work. Let's go give him a visit," Iris says.
"Let's do that," Barry says.
"Mr. Allen, remember, if anything happens, you come to us," Dr. Well says.
"Thank you, Dr. Wells," Barry thanks him and leaves with Iris.

Barry is sitting in the passenger seat inside Iris's car as she drives him to the police precinct.
Barry is staring out the window, watching the world go past.
After being trapped for an eternity, everything that's not red and yellow lightning is a breath of fresh air.
He turns to look at Iris and doesn't know what to think of her. Sure, the previous Barry Allen might have had feelings for this girl, but he doesn't feel much. He is now a completely different person.
"What is it?" Iris asks noticing that Barry is looking at her.
"Nothing... I can't believe it's been nine months..." Barry says, lying to avoid telling what he is truly thinking.
"I am so happy that you are finally awake. I don't know what I would have done, what Dad would do if we had lost you," Iris says.
Barry smiles. Though he doesn't feel the same love for Iris as the previous Barry Allen, he is still happy to know that there are people here who care for him.
Sure, he might not be the Barry Allen that they know and care for, but he has taken his place.
Barry doesn't remember his past life. Everything he has going on for him now is inherited from the previous Barry Allen. This is now his life. He is Barry Allen.
"I am here now," Barry says with a smile. Iris smiles back and goes back to concentrating on driving.
Barry once again begins looking out of the window when he sees a bird flying.
And he sees something weird.
