As the world teetered on the edge of utter collapse, a new force emerged that even Arkan could not foresee: the Nexus of Free Will.
Unknown to Arkan, the system that granted him such absolute power wasn't the only one of its kind. The Nexus—an ancient force formed from the collective will of the world's remaining defiant citizens—began to grow. It existed as an ethereal consciousness, a hidden network of people bound by a single belief: no one should ever have the right to impose absolute, unchallenged will upon the world.
The Nexus began to gather information and quietly build their strength. Through subtle means, they tapped into parts of the world that Arkan could not fully control—his influence over the digital and mental realms had not extended as far as he imagined. Slowly, they gained the ability to counter his decrees. When Arkan issued an order to decimate an entire nation of rebels, the Nexus stepped in. Though it was only a small victory, it felt like a great setback to the Supreme Judge.
The first crack appeared in his invincible facade. The Nexus, unseen and inconspicuous, started organizing powerful resistances and underground groups. And for the first time, Arkan realized that despite his overwhelming strength, he could not undo the force that would rally people against him in secret.
The voice in his head grew stronger, whispering incessantly: "Your rule cannot last forever. There is always a greater power."
