Chapter 2 - It is same as those novel!!!!!

**********

Alex squinted at his screen, its flickering growing worse.

The steady hum of his PC deepened into a low vibration, making his desk tremble.

For a moment, he thought it might be an electrical problem—or maybe the GPU he overclocked one too many times was finally giving up.

But this wasn't normal.

"Come on, not now,"

Alex muttered, slapping the side of his monitor.

"I don't need more drama in my life. You break now, and I swear I'm throwing you out the window."

The screen suddenly went dark, plunging the room into an eerie silence.

Then, green text began scrolling across the screen.

Ting—!

{ INITIALIZING SYSTEM…

ERROR: NEURAL SYNC DETECTED. FORCE REBOOTING… }

"What the hell?"

Alex leaned closer, his heart skipping a beat.

He hadn't seen anything like this before—not in his years of modding games, fixing PCs, or even dabbling in hacking forums.

The screen changed again.

{ RECALIBRATING… NEURAL DATA ACQUIRED. PLAYER PROFILE CONFIRMED. }

Before Alex could react, a synthetic voice echoed through his apartment.

"Welcome, player Alex Kane. Synchronizing data for World System Access. Please remain calm."

"Remain calm? Who in the dog shit is talking?"

Alex spun around, but the room was empty. His hands hovered over the keyboard.

"Is this some sort of prank? A hacked update?"

{ ESTABLISHING LINK TO WORLD PROTOCOL… }

The lights flickered wildly, and an odd vibration filled the air, buzzing deep in Alex's chest.

His monitor glowed unnaturally bright, spilling green light across his cluttered desk.

He stumbled backward, tripping over his chair.

"Okay, this isn't funny anymore! Shut it off!"

{ ERROR: HOST SUBJECT SHOWS RESISTANCE. UPDATING PARAMETERS.}

Whoosh—!

A sudden wave of nausea hit Alex, like the world had tilted beneath him.

Creakkk—!

The air shimmered, the walls rippling like water.

He blinked hard, but the distortion didn't go away.

Instead, it got worse.

Crack—!

Boom—!

Plank—!

The room stretched and twisted as if someone had grabbed reality itself and was dragging it through broken code.

Shadows moved where there shouldn't have been any, and the hum of his computer grew deafening.

"What the—"

Alex froze as a holographic screen materialized in front of him, glowing with an ethereal blue light.

[SYSTEM INTERFACE ACTIVATED]

Name: Alex Kane

Alias: GlitchMasterX

Current Level: 0

Class: Unassigned

Status: Pending Initialization

World Sync: In Progress

Alex's hands trembled as he reached out to touch the floating interface. It responded to his movements, shifting and expanding.

"This… this can't be real," he whispered.

His sudden realisation hits hard

"I-Its same as those from those Novels?!"

The voice returned, calm but unyielding.

"Calibration complete. Player Alex Kane, welcome to the World System."

Before Alex could argue, another screen appeared.

Ting—!

[TUTORIAL QUEST: A GLITCH IN REALITY]

Objective: Begin synchronization with the World System.

Reward: System Access Level 1, Skill Initialization.

Failure: Neural collapse.

"Neural collapse?!"

Alex's voice cracked.

He stumbled back, his mind racing. Was this some kind of elaborate scam?

A VR experiment gone rogue?

Or was he losing his mind?

"Player Alex Kane,"

The voice said again, its tone sharper.

"Resistance will result in termination of this session—and possibly your consciousness."

"Consciousness?!"

Alex shouted.

"You can't just throw out words like that! This is insane!"

{ PLAYER RESISTANCE DETECTED. INITIATING SYSTEM RESET.}

Suddenly, the world went still.

For a split second, Alex felt weightless.

Creak—!

Then, a sound like shattering glass erupted in his ears, and the entire world broke.

His apartment cracked like a digital image corrupted by static.

Chewdd—!

The walls stretched into infinity, the ceiling pixelated and collapsed, and the floor dissolved into nothingness.

But Alex didn't fall.

He stood in the void, surrounded by floating fragments of his life—pieces of his desk, his posters, his keyboard, all drifting like debris in a digital sea.

"What the hell is happening?"

Alex whispered.

[PLAYER PROFILE: COMPETITIVE GAMER]

Strengths: Reflexes, strategic thinking, glitch exploitation.

Weaknesses: Emotional instability, social detachment, crippling self-doubt.

Potential: High.

"Crippling self-doubt?"

Alex glared at the screen.

"What is this, my therapy session?"

{ DATA CONFIRMED. BEGINNING WORLD SYSTEM INTEGRATION. }

Without warning, the shattered fragments of his apartment began to reassemble—not as his home, but as something far worse.

The familiar walls were replaced by jagged, metallic structures.

The air filled with acrid smoke, and the faint sound of screaming echoed in the distance.

Alex gasped as he realized he was still standing in the same spot—but his world had changed.

Step—!

He walk towards the broken window in front of him and saw the world in front of him.

"Is this… still my city?"

He muttered.

The view from his apartment window was unrecognizable.

The skyline was broken, skyscrapers reduced to skeletal ruins.

Fires raged in the distance, and strange, shadowy figures roamed the streets below.

[WORLD SYNC COMPLETE]

Welcome to the System Apocalypse.

"This can't be real,"

Alex muttered, stumbling toward the window. He stared at the destruction outside, his chest tightening.

The streets he once walked were now battlefields, filled with people running, screaming, and fighting for their lives.

A new notification popped up.

[TUTORIAL COMPLETE]

Reward Claimed: Basic Stats Initialized.

New Quest Unlocked: Survive the First Hour.

"Survive the first hour?!"

Alex shouted.

"What does that even mean?!"

Roaaaar—!

Creeeaaakkk—!

Before he could process anything, a deafening roar echoed through the ruins.

Alex spun around to see a massive creature—a horrifying mix of machine and monster—climbing over a nearby building.

Its glowing red eyes locked onto him, and it let out another bone-chilling roar.

[ENEMY IDENTIFIED]

Name: Mecha-Beast: Ravager

Level: 5

Status: Hostile

"Level 5?!"

Alex screamed.

"I'm level zero! How is this fair?"

The Ravager charged, its massive claws tearing through the debris as it barreled toward Alex.

"Okay, okay, think!"

Alex muttered, panic setting in.

"What do gamers do in situations like this? Oh, right—they run!"

He bolted out of the room, the walls trembling as the Ravager smashed through them in pursuit.

Boom—!

[SKILL UNLOCKED: GLITCH EXPLOITATION]

Effect: Manipulate environmental code fragments to create temporary advantages.

"Glitch exploitation?"

Alex gasped, ducking into a narrow alley as the Ravager tore through the building behind him.

"What am I supposed to do with that?"

The air shimmered ahead of him, a faint distortion like a crack in reality.

Without thinking, Alex lunged toward it.

The moment he touched the glitch, the world around him froze.

"What the…"

Alex looked around, his heart pounding.

A prompt appeared.

[EXPLOIT GLITCH? Y/N]

"Yes!"

Alex shouted, slamming his hand through the distortion.

The frozen world shattered like glass, and Alex found himself standing on top of a collapsed building.

The Ravager was disoriented below, scanning for him.

"Okay,"

Alex muttered, catching his breath.

"This is insane, but I think I can work with it."

The Ravager roared again, its red eyes locking onto him.

"Or maybe not,"

Alex said, backing away.

"Seriously, can I get a tutorial or something?"

The System didn't respond, and the Ravager began climbing toward him.
