The word count for this project will range between 1,000 and 6,000 words. Expect some humor regarding various issues as I explore what I see as the theory of human breakdown. The quality of the narrative is expected to improve with each chapter, comment, and review.
This is not your typical apocalypse novel; there won't be a cringe-worthy main character who mindlessly discusses feminism and indiscriminately kills others (although he may kill some for specific reasons).
This story will contain:
- No RPG elements
- No structured system
- No magic
- No special powers
- No cultivation
- No monsters emerging from gates, the ground, or monsters with mechanical parts (though this may change later, specifically regarding the mechanical parts).
The government does not collapse in the background; rather, the story reflects a breakdown of realism from my perspective as they serve as the antagonists. The main character is initially aloof yet intelligent before he becomes, well, broken. He will kill later on, but that is far in the future.
His son was summoned and did not travel to the past using a machine; this will be explained later.
The story will not focus solely on the main character; there will be segments featuring other individuals whose stories will eventually connect.
