All the while, Alvin didn't use his magic from Order of Merlin, because that was like a secret to him.
With that, he only used part of his power, which was limited to the cloud spell. Yet, now he wanted to use his magic spell.
By right, the entry test shouldn't be so tough. So, he never thought of using it. The injury of his teammates reminded him that bad things could happen, even in an academy entry test.
As a person who experienced the attack on Order of Merlin in previous life, he knew that it was important for him to be strong and fight.
"Principal" Alvin looked at Mr Kael and said.
"Hmm?" Hearing that, Mr Kael raised his brow. He wanted to know what they would do when they faced such a strong opponent.
"I want to challenge you" Alvin stared at Mr Kael. He was thinking fast in his mind.
He understood that if others make the rules, they win. If he makes the rules, he wins.
"Oh, how?" Mr Kael squinted his eyes, and grinned lightly.
"We still have 30 minutes. If you can get this gem from me, you win. If not, we win" Alvin pointed at the time funnel, then took out a wind element gem.
Alvin understood that if he played Mr Kael's rules, the rules would favor Mr Kael. So, he must make his own rules. He also understood that it was easier to defend than attack, considering his skill in the magic circle.
Hearing the suggestion, there was a gleam of admiration in Mr Kael's gleam.
"Can." Mr Kael said with a relaxed voice. After all. he was a high level cloud holder. There was nothing to be afraid of. On top of that, he liked how Alvin made his own rules. Mr Kael could have rejected the suggestion, but he still let it be.
Alvin gazed at Mr Kael for a moment then he turned his head, looking at his teammate.
Jack, Elaine and Charles had got up from the ground. Elaine was looking after Szyi who fainted.
After exchanging a glance with them, they nodded to each other.
"Come on, we can do it" Elaine said as she stood up.
"Ya, man, principal, your rule not good" Jack grinned.
Then, they quickly got into formation. Jack took the front. Elaine took the left. Charles took the right. Alvin was in the middle.
They summoned their clouds, ready to fight.
Alvin suggested this new challenge, saying that Mr Kael would win if Mr Kael got the gem from him. What Alvin didn't let everyone know was his special skill, magic circle. If Mr Kael didn't prepare for it, he would be in trouble.
Now, Alvin was in anger due to the injury of his teammate. So, instead of defense, Alvin actually wanted to attack.
"Charles, now" Alvin exclaimed.
The next moment, they started the fight, but they didn't cast their cloud spell to Mr Kael.
As a mage class, usually Alvin and Charles would keep a distance with the enemy. However, this time, instead of keeping distance, Alvin and Charles darted to Mr Kael, together with Jack and Elaine.
Alvin knew that they didn't stand a chance if they let Mr Kael used his cloud spell. Obviously, Mr Kael was a mage class. Alvin didn't want to give Mr Kael the chance to cast spells at a distance.
Mr Kael squinted his eyes, analysing all of them. Then, he flipped his book and exclaimed.
"First cloud spell, rank 1, water drop" Again, 4 water drops were shot to them.
But this time, they handled it well.
In front of the Eldrich academy, all of them used their cloud spell to hit the water drops.
Although Alvin could use his wind blade to block the water drop, he didn't do it that way. He chose a different way.
While others were slowed down by the water drop, Alvin sped up.
"Body strengthening, legs." Alvin murmured in a low voice.
Initially, Jack was leading in front. Suddenly, Alvin sped up and overtook Jack.
With some running, Alvin dodged the water drop and managed to get near Mr Kael.
"Wow, that speed." Seeing Alvin's speed, Jordan and Austin who were watching the fight sighed.
Mr Kael gasped. He didn't expect Alvin to be so fast.
As Alvin was 1 meter away from Mr Kael, he took out a mat from his space ring. It was his lighting magic circle called, lightning spike. He put the magic circle on the floor them pressed his hand on it.
What surprised everyone was the effect of this magic circle.
Under the gaze of everyone, numerous lightning were shot out from the magic circle as if thousands of lightning needles attacked Mr Kael.
"Second cloud spell, rank 2 mirror veil." Of course, Mr Kael opened three mirror veils around him.
Not that he didn't want to open more mirror veils. Just that the maximum number of mirror veil that Mr Kael could open was three mirror veils. Three mirror veil weren't enough to handle thousands of lightning needle, considering the lightning came from all directions.
So, Mr Kael was buysing to open and close the mirror veil to block the lightning from different direction.
In front of the academy, Mr Kael, with his mirror veil around him were reflecting the lightning needle.
Of course, all the needles were reflected towards Alvin, which means, Alvin was also handling thousands of lightning needle as Mr Kael did.
A shoe tapped on the ground, bringing Alvin to move in a fast speed to dodge the attack.
All these years, under the teaching of teacher Elias, Alvin didn't stop his practise in running. Everyday, he would run a few rounds to build up his speed and stamina.
Alvin was focusing on dodging the lightning using his stamina and his body strengthening magic skill.
