Chapter 8 - The Hidden Temple

Raven's words hung in the air, a sense of urgency and danger settling over the group. "We need to go to the Hidden Temple," Raven said, her eyes locked on Lexi's. "It's the only place where we can find the information we need to stop the Order."

Lexi's eyes narrowed. "Where is the Hidden Temple?" she asked.

Raven smiled. "It's in India," she said. "In a city called Kalibhumi."

Lexi's eyes widened. "I've never heard of it," she said.

Raven nodded. "That's because it's a city that doesn't exist on any map," she said. "It's a place of ancient power and knowledge, hidden away from the rest of the world."

Lexi's eyes locked on Raven's. "How do we get there?" she asked.

Raven smiled. "I have a contact in India who can help us," she said. "We'll need to fly to Mumbai and then take a train to Kalibhumi."

Lexi's heart was racing as she stood up. She knew that they were taking a risk by going to India, but she also knew that they had no choice. They had to stop the Order, no matter what it took.

As they made their way to the airport, Lexi couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She kept looking over her shoulder, expecting to see a member of the Order lurking in the shadows.

But there was no one there. Or so she thought.

As they boarded the plane and took off into the night sky, Lexi felt a sense of relief wash over her. They were on their way to India, and they were one step closer to stopping the Order.

But as she looked over at Raven, she saw a hint of a smile on her face. A smile that made Lexi's heart skip a beat.

What was Raven hiding? And what lay ahead for them in Kalibhumi?

Just as Lexi was about to ask Raven a question, her phone rang. It was Ethan.

"Hey, Lexi," Ethan said. "I've been doing some research on the Order, and I think I've found something important."

Lexi's eyes locked on Raven's. "What is it?" she asked.

"I'll tell you when I see you," Ethan said. "But I need to come to India with you. I can catch a flight tomorrow."

Lexi hesitated, unsure of what to do. But Raven nodded, a small smile on her face.

"Tell him to come," Raven said. "We'll wait for him in Mumbai."

Lexi nodded, and relayed the message to Ethan.

As she hung up the phone, Lexi felt a sense of unease. What had Ethan discovered? And what lay ahead for them in Kalibhumi?

As the plane landed in Mumbai, Lexi and Raven made their way to a hotel, where they planned to wait for Ethan's arrival the next day.

As they settled into their room, Lexi couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She kept looking over her shoulder, expecting to see a member of the Order lurking in the shadows.

Raven noticed her unease and smiled reassuringly. "We're safe here, Lexi," she said. "The Order doesn't know we're in India yet."

But Lexi wasn't so sure. She had a feeling that they were getting close to something, and that the Order would stop at nothing to keep them from discovering the truth.

The next day, Ethan arrived at the hotel, looking tired but determined. "I've got some news," he said, as soon as he saw Lexi and Raven. "I've been researching the Order, and I think I've found a connection to an ancient cult that operated in Kalibhumi."

Lexi's eyes widened, intrigued. "Tell us more," she said.

Ethan nodded, pulling out a folder full of notes and photographs. "The cult was known as the Kali Sect," he said. "They were a group of powerful sorcerers who worshipped the goddess Kali, and were known for their dark magic and human sacrifices."

Raven's eyes locked on Ethan's, a look of intensity on her face. "I think I know where this is going," she said.

Ethan nodded. "I think the Order is trying to summon a powerful entity, one that will grant them immense power and control. And I think they're using the Kali Sect's rituals to do it."

Lexi felt a chill run down her spine, as the implications of what Ethan was saying sank in. They were dealing with something truly evil, something that would stop at nothing to achieve its goals.

But she also knew that they couldn't back down now. They had to stop the Order, no matter what it took.

"Let's get moving," she said, standing up. "We have a train to catch."

As they made their way to the train station, Lexi couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She kept looking over her shoulder, expecting to see a member of the Order lurking in the shadows.

But there was no one there. Or so she thought.

As they boarded the train and settled into their seats, Lexi felt a sense of relief wash over her. They were on their way to Kalibhumi, and they were one step closer to stopping the Order.

But as the train rumbled on, Lexi couldn't shake the feeling that they were being pulled into a trap, one that would lead them straight into the heart of darkness.
