He complained lightly to her, "Don't praise me so much, mother."
She continued to smile as she asked, "Why not? Don't you like it?"
He caved in and said, "I like it a little bit."
She clapped again. "That's my boy."
"Since you like training so much, I have decided that you should start training with a weapon."
