Chapter 11 - Punishment Given

The young master roared in frustration.

Lin Fang smirked, his posture still relaxed. "Alright," he said lightly. "If you're that eager to get embarrassed, who am I to stop you?"

the old man got ready to strike. The girl, still clutching Lin Fang's cloth, stared with her eyes wide at the scene unfolding before her.

And Lin Fang? He stood there, calm as ever, his thoughts drifting toward the absurdity of it all.

"Guess it's time to teach some manners," he thought, rolling his shoulders. "Shouldn't take more than a minute."

The girl's voice trembled as she clutched her arms tightly, her wide eyes darting between Lin Fang and the old man. "We—we need to run! You won't be able to deal with the old turtle. He's been cultivating for who knows how long!"

Lin Fang smiled faintly, his calm expression making her panic seem almost laughable. "It's fine," he said with a reassuring nod. "I'll deal with them."

He pointed toward a large rock nearby, its bulk jutting out from the earth like a natural barricade. "Go hide over there. Stay out of sight."

Without waiting for her response, Lin Fang stepped forward, his posture casual, as if this were just another mundane task. The girl did not hesitate for a split second before nodding, scurrying toward the rock, and disappearing behind it.

Lin Fang turned his attention to the old man, whose face twisted grimly. The man's qi began to surge, the air around him faintly vibrating with energy.

"Crashing Thunder Kick!" the old man bellowed, launching himself forward with surprising speed for his age. His leg arced upward, the force of the kick causing the leaves around them to rustle violently.

Lin Fang's body shifted effortlessly, leaning just out of reach of the attack. The old man's kick sliced through the air, narrowly missing him.

"Not bad," Lin Fang remarked, a playful grin on his lips. "For someone who's probably been cultivating since the dinosaurs were around."

The old man snarled, his stance changing as he prepared to attack again. But Lin Fang had seen enough. He darted forward, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye.

With an accurate landing, Lin Fang's fist connected with the old man's stomach. The impact rippled through the man's body, his eyes widening in shock as he stumbled backwards.

The force sent him flying, his back slamming into a nearby tree with a resounding crack. The tree splintered under the impact, and the old man coughed violently, vomiting blood.

"Dammit," the old man gasped, clutching his chest. His eyes flickered with a mixture of pain and fear as he stared at Lin Fang. "I was right… He's a hidden master!"

Lin Fang didn't give him a chance to recover. Before the old man could even think about standing, Lin Fang appeared in front of him with startling speed.

"Guess this is where we say goodnight," Lin Fang said lightly, raising his leg.

His foot connected squarely with the old man's face in a clean, decisive kick. The old man's body crumpled to the ground, unconscious before he even hit the dirt.

Lin Fang straightened, dusting off his hands as if the fight had been nothing more than a minor inconvenience. He turned to face the young master, who stood motionless, his face pale.

The young master's mouth opened, then closed, as if searching for words that refused to come.

Lin Fang raised an eyebrow, his tone still light but tinged with amusement. "What's the matter?" he asked. "Cat got your tongue? Or are you rethinking all those bad life decisions?"

The young master snapped out of his daze, his face contorting into a mixture of panic and desperation.

He staggered backward, pointing a trembling finger at Lin Fang.

"D-Don't touch me!" he stammered, his voice high-pitched and shaky. "I am part of the Sun Family! We ar—"

Smack!

Lin Fang's hand connected with the young master's face before he could finish, the impact reverberating through the forest. A few teeth went flying, spinning through the air before disappearing into the dirt. The young master's cheeks ballooned grotesquely, swelling up like overripe fruit.

"Stop it," Lin Fang said, his voice calm but carrying a sharp edge. "I don't care who your family is. Sun, Moon, Stars—whatever. It doesn't matter to me."

The young master's eyes darted around, searching for help, but the old man was still unconscious, slumped awkwardly against a tree.

Lin Fang stepped closer, his gaze steady, and pointed a finger at the young master's chest.

"Since you seem to think it's okay to use your 'little brother' without asking for something called consent," he said, his tone deceptively light, "I think it's only fair that we end that habit of yours…Permanently."

The young master's face drained of colour. "N-No! You can—"

Before he could finish, Lin Fang's foot shot upward with precision and force that could only be described as merciless.

Thud.

The kick landed directly on the young master's "third leg," the sound strangely satisfying in its finality.

Sun Zhao's eyes rolled back into his head as a strangled groan escaped his lips, and he crumpled to the ground like a broken marionette.

Lin Fang crouched beside the unconscious figure, his expression neutral.

"Let's make sure this doesn't regenerate," Lin Fang muttered to himself, his voice carrying some humour.

His qi spread through the area, annihilating every cell responsible for regeneration. If the Sun Family wanted this fixed, they'd need a miracle—or, at the very least, a heavenly treasure, or so he thought.

After doing that, Lin Fang slapped the young master's swollen face with enough force to rattle a few remaining teeth.

Sun Zhao jolted awake, his groggy eyes widening as the pain registered after a few seconds. For a moment, his brain seemed to refuse to acknowledge it.

Then it hit him all at once.

"ARGH!" he screamed, clutching his lower body as his entire frame shuddered in agonising pain.

"Stop whining," Lin Fang said, his voice calm but laced with annoyance. "I assure you, you've probably killed more of your own kids during your... leisure activities than I just did earlier."

Sun Zhao's face twisted in rage, but the fear in his eyes was unmistakable.

"You've got two choices," Lin Fang said, his voice sharp and unwavering. "One, you promise me you'll leave the girl alone and forget about revenge. Two, I end this here and now."
