Mira's business was booming and instantly gained recognition in 3 months, with thanks to her husband.
Mira and Lucas had grown fond of each other and maybe because Mira had matured more. Lucas Informed her that he wanted to take her to his family and she instantly agreed.
When they got there he just brushed his parents and saw some of his family members.
While she greeted his parents respectfully which shocked them because most people don't even respect them because they were spoilt brats, but the girl in front of them dress decently by wearing a blue gown that goes below her knee and a white shawl around her shoulder with her curl brown hair was in a high ponytail.
His step mom instantly fell in love with the girl and accepted her as her daughter-in-law, but Lucas's father was surprised but before her could say anything his parents summoned him to talk with his son.
Lucas's grandparents glared at Lucas's father. They hadn't seen Lucas in years and now he has returned but with a wife.
While they were discussing, Mira went outside because his cousins called her. They started talking while Mira was mostly just nodding and listening to what they were saying, little did she know that one of his cousin Lila was setting a trap for her.
"Wow Mira you are so pretty, Brother Lucas really has an eye for good things. Come outside I wanna show you something" Lila said
Before coming Lila was informed that Lucas was bringing his wife. Lila was his step cousin by Lucas's uncle (his father's elder brother) who married a woman that already had a child which was Lila.
Lila had been furious, she always thought she will be with Lucas forever and she doesn't know about his Casanova. She devised a plan to get rid of his wife.
Mira followed Lila into the garden far away from the mansion. Lila proceed by acting nice to Mira and then she suddenly said
"Mira, Lucas is mine, i don't know what kind of magic you use to bewitch him but he is mine" Mira was taken aback from her out burst and then realization don on her. She turned around trying to run but Lila already held her hand and tied her to a tree and called a man. Mira saw them conversing but she heard him say
"Woah finally fresh meat, you've out done yourself Lila" and turned to Mira with a lustful look. The man came closer as if wanting to plunder her and get rid of her. So she started struggling and was about to scream when he slapped her and he cut her exposing of her shoulder and ruining her new dress.
Mira's heart was pounding not knowing what was about to happen.
