Harry continued to tell the chronology of Kael's death in detail, making Claudia's eyes fill with tears. By the time he finished his story, his right thumb wiped away the tears flooding his wife's eyelids. He understood that Claudia must still find it difficult to trust him and even hate him even more because he committed crimes that took people's lives. Moreover, the killing method was quite cruel.
"You must still be scared because I told you how I killed him," said Harry quietly.
Claudia shook her head. "No. In fact, now I am finally relieved. I don't have to bother guessing whether you are the real murderer or not."
"I'm sorry, Claudia. I should have told you from the start."
"If I may ask, why don't you want to tell me?" Claudia touched the back of Harry's hand. "You're afraid I'll hate you?"
