Chapter 88 - Getting To Know Each Other

By reason of exhaustion or simply being overwhelmed, Aoni stayed unconscious for several hours, unknowingly. Which, given everything he had experienced in such a short time, was kind of to be expected, considering his metaphorical batteries needed a recharge.

When his eyes finally began to flutter open, the first thing he noticed was a stiffness in his back, along with the fact that he was lying on the floor.

"Ugh, how long was I out for…" Propping himself up on his arms and looking around the room, Aoni's eyes drifted from the floor to the ceiling before settling on a certain portion of the wall, and he released a sigh.

"Fantastic, I was thrown hard enough that I put a hole in my brand new wall…" With dead fish eyes, the first thing he decided to do was….Completely ignore everything so that he can check on his summons.
