It all started with a dream....

The walk seemed endless. The sounds of birds and crickets chirping could be heard in the frosty night. For one thing was obvious to me; I was tired, so tired I don't think I can move my feet any longer. I looked ahead to see Sharona upfront. How does she still manage to walk? I don't know how long we have been doing this. Maybe for four or five hours but it felt like we have been walking for three days non-stop.

"Sharona, can we just rest? I am so tired. Please, I don't think I can go on any further", I pleaded with my best friend who was walking without stopping like an automated machine. I expected a reply or something like that but I got none. After a whole five minutes passed, I raised my head just in time to see her turn to give me a small smile and continued walking.

"I mean, come on!!", I shouted in frustration,"You won't tell me where we're going yet you expect me to follow you like a robot or servant. What is this surprise you want to show me anyway?"

"You will know it when the time is right ", She paused her movement, said that and turned back again.

'Are you serious right now?', I screamed inside my head but kept my mouth shut. I, for one, knows that once Sharona sets her mind on something, she doesn't give up so I just followed though, not without occasional stops to calm my feet down.

After what felt like fifty minutes more, I realized that I could no longer see Sharona ahead of me. I paused, looked back, no Sharona. I walked faster to see if she is just maybe a little further. I still did not see her. I began feeling scared. I knew that I was scared of the dark and the fact that my phone's battery is about to die down did not help either.

"Okay, calm down, calm down", I told myself repeatedly. I cannot let my fears get the best of me especially not in this unknown place. I searched round again, still no sign of her. Did she vanish or what? Millions of thoughts started popping up in my mind like notifications.

Suddenly, I felt movements around me. I was happy thinking it was Sharona so I called out.

"Sharona! Sharona, you know more than anyone I hate pranks! Don't play a fast one on me and just come out!".

I waited to hear laughing, giggles, anything that will indicate it is Sharona's idea of pranks again. I got none. I was beginning to get scared, like really scared.

In the faintest of visions, I saw a person or an image that looks like a real person. I'm not sure. I thought I was imagining things so I looked again. It was still there. Just standing motionless. The first thought that came to me was to run; run very far but to where? I didn't know. I was not familiar with these mountains.

It was like something or some voice kept beckoning on me to come, keep coming forward and I find myself moving. I was not in control of my body. I could not scream or cry out, just kept moving.

Suddenly, I felt a hand tapping me....
