Anne enters the living room to get her purse and leave for work as she saw a man who looked just like the one in her drawing. "Hey Anne, it's been a while." He says as Anne brings out her phone about to call 911. "Who are you and what are doing in my house?" Anne asked. "You've forgotten me?" He said as she called 911. The police were on their way. She tied him up to a chair with a rope. "Now I'm gonna ask you one more time. Who are you?" She asked. "I'm your buddy, Deon." He replied as the police entered the building with their guns above shoulders. When the asked where the criminal is,she tried to show them but it was as though they couldn't see Deon. Is he invisible. No that'll be silly. She thought to herself. The police had doubt in her and told her never to give a prank call again or else she'll pay a fine. Once they left she asked him to explain himself. "Let's just say, I'm your imaginary friend from your childhood, who you made 'memories' with. I am currently transitioning into the real world so for now, only you can see me." Deon replied." Then why are you grown?" She asked. "Because this is how your adult brain pictured me in your dream. And it's permanent." He replied. She asked him how he got here but he seemed as clueless as her. Since they were ignorant of how he got here, they didn't know how to take him back. Anne went to get some coffee to process her situation when she saw her boss from work called her phone. She called him back saying that she's sick. Deon smile at her saying that she'd almost forgotten about him. Seeing the real world rather than the fake or imaginary world was quite soothing to him. He never wants to leave. He missed her so much. He asked her for some food. He went to the fridge and got some yoghurt to drink while eating pasta. He noticed how scared she was due to the situation. "Hey, I know this is a bit overwhelming but everything is going to be just fine k?" Deon said." Okay." Anne complied as she stands up and gets him some clothes to wear.
Anne wears a yellow oversized T-shirt and white, her long brown hair covers her shoulders. She's 5'8feet tall,has brown eyes.perfectly white teeth and a dotted nose. She switches on her TV and tunes into her telenovela, Nurses while sitting besides Deon on the couch. Deon's body was well tuned and that was a trait Anne couldn't ignore. So she got him an ash coloured hoodie to wear. She got some more yoghurt from the fridge and continued watching the series with Deon.
By noon, Anne asks Deon where he'll sleep and he answered saying that once she's asleep so does he.
This time Anne's dreams that she's frolicking down a breezy hill. She's relieved that she can still sleep.
