About thirty minutes later, consciousness returned to the carriage-rider.
A delirious sensation stirred up within him as he tried to make sense of what was happening around him.
The last thing he knew before he was knocked out was that, well, he was about to die. Being held by the sword and knowing that his end had come, he had accepted his eventual death. However….
In an instant, he had felt a shockwave, and that was the last thing that he experienced.
"Ah...what…..where am…I?"
He strained his eyes as he finally realized that he was on someone else's back.
More specifically, Daizen Shizaki.
On hearing him mutter, Shizaki, Yukini and King instantly stopped walking.
"S-Sir…..are….you awake….?"
"...Yeah….."
Shizaki peeked at him as he turned his head slightly. He then flashed him a tired and annoyed scowl.
"Then please…..get off of me already…."
